Could they find Warrior on other worlds? It was a good question, really, and made Hope stop to consider his answer though he knew exactly how the situation would go if this Warrior fellow had indeed found himself on another planet. Hope was simply looking for the best way to explain it. "We do monitor other worlds, some more closely than others." Oriens immediately came into his mind, his experiences there still fresh in his memory. "So long as it's a world we know of and he doesn't stray far from known portal sites, we should have an easy time finding him in another world, as well. If not...we have methods to find people in...ah, I supposed you could call them parallel timelines. We should be able to find him through the device that allows us to do so, though it would take more time." Weeks, probably, but Hope didn't want to be the bearer of bad news. He had his optimism that her friend could be found here on Gran Pulse, though, so the worst-case scenarios were likely irrelevant. A man who'd just been through a portal was unlikely to head immediately through another one - a group of psychologists also assigned to study portals had found out that little tidbit.
Obviously, Hope had quite a strong opinion on fal'Cie - stronger than the opinions of most people at the Academy. He'd seen first-hand what a fal'Cie was willing to do to people, and while most agreed humans couldn't solely rely on them for well-being, they weren't as adamant as Hope about removing their presence from the world entirely. Hope's plans - his most radical ones, dealing with the Academy's plans for the fall of Cocoon several hundred years in the future - excluded fal'Cie altogether. "If those living here would only accept that they don't need fal'Cie, we could make considerable progress. You could say it's in our hands to solve the problem. It's just a matter of doing it," he explained, with a light sigh. People had come such a long way from their time on Cocoon, but as always, people wanted to resort to what was easiest. Hope knew living under fal'Cie had made life easy for everyone, and it was one of the things that had probably made him soft and unable to approach Snow back when his mother had died. Now, though, they all needed to get past that as Hope and his friends had.
And right on schedule, there was the key for the room brought over to them. Hope watched the exchange with a hand rubbing at his chin. He noticed a little confusion - or a lot, maybe - in Cosmos' expression, but the receptionist could handle showing her the room and showing her how to use the key-card. He gave his guest a small shake of his head when she asked if he needed anything further. "No, I think this will be just fine. Thanks for the help and for coming to us. We're always glad to help. If you have any questions for me specifically, simply call the reception desk and ask for me," he told her, as he stood from his seat. "As soon as I have any information on your friend, I'll contact you. I hope you find your time here enjoyable, at least. And don't worry. Your friend will be fine."
Turning her over to the receptionist with a nod of his head, Hope left the two and started back towards the interior of the building, having all but forgotten the odd anomaly on the computers that the other scientists had now decided was coming from a living being. No, much more at the forefront of Hope's mind was the idea that he should ask Lightning if she knew anyone named Cosmos...
