Sice wasn’t completely sure she wanted to know just how much Seven knew about Trey that night after his damn birthday party. It wasn’t like there was anything to hide, except for maybe a slight wonder as to why he had called her of all people down, but that wasn’t something she needed to focus on right now. But, that was easier said than done when Seven suddenly got a sly grin on her face and kept asking her questions. Great, she had lost her cool and now she was going to pay with repercussions. And if she didn’t give a good enough answer at this moment, then she was sure she was going to be asked later in the nearby future, and at a possibly even more embarrassing situation. Great. Just damn great. So, she released her hold on Seven’s arms, crossed her own arms over her chest, and scowled. “Good, because that is all there is to it. Speculation.” And then she provided her own sly smirk as she looked on at her roommate. “Besides, why are ye asking those kind of questions yourself? Isn’t there somethin’ going on between ye and Nine?” It wasn’t hard to see the attraction between the two. After all, Seven was her roommate and Nine was like a brother to her. Not hard at all.
But, then the focus got changed back to dresses and shoes again, and finally, she was back into her own comfortable clothes, but this time, a dress was in her hand. Not the first thing she would have liked but it would have to do, seeing as how she had gotten this far. She wasn’t that worried about shoes, or heels to be more specific, after all, she wore them almost everyday with her uniform. Albeit, they were smaller heels, ones that she could easily walk, run, and fight in. But, she knew for a fact that the heels worn at dresses were much higher than what she was really used to, and not exactly on the high level of comfort. Her shoulders fell as Seven said so, but she was happy that they didn’t have to go another store as this one seemed to be equipped with everything that they would need. So, with a huff, she stepped over to the racks of shoes, and found where the assortment of her size were. She stared at the multitude of shoes for a little while before she let out a small puff of anger and annoyance before grabbing a pair to inspect them. She didn’t want anything too high, or too strappy, but with the fashion sense these days, she wasn’t sure if she would be able to go along with those two wishes. She scanned the shelves, her arms crossed once more, as she tried to find a pair of shoes that would catch her eye sooner or later and would, hopefully, go with the dress that she and Seven had picked out. If she didn’t find anything, then she was sure that meant more dragging, and she didn’t want anymore of that. If she hurried this up, then they could go get something to eat, and food was something that Sice would always enjoy.
Finally, a pair caught her eye and she took a shoe from the box, looking at it for a moment before begrudgingly, taking off the necessary sneaker and sock so that she could tuck on the damn heel. It slipped right on, surprisingly, and they weren’t all that bad in the comfort range either. The shoe was like a heel and a boot mashed together in one, with an open toe and laces going up it, though it didn’t look like she had to exactly tie the laces. They seemed fine to her. And by the looks of it, they went with her black dress. They would have to do. She slipped the shoe off, put it back in the box, and grabbed it. “I’ll take these, then we can go get a bite to eat.”

Seven couldn't help the smirk that came up onto her lips when Sice adamantly spoke that it was only speculation. Usually when one was so firm about it, there was a shred of truth about what they were denying. She had that from her own personal experience. After all, Seven had done the same thing plenty of times. And she knew Sice. If something really wasn't true, she acted uninterested. But she just knowingly smiled and left it at that. Honestly, she had accomplished her goal of learning what had made Sice leave that night - and it had definitely involved Trey - as well as flustering Sice a little bit, which was an accomplishment in of itself. So that was two things that she had done today that it was hard to do. Get information out of Sice that she didn't want to give, and fluster her. Yup, it was a good day! And get her to buy a dress to boot. Seven might have to mark this down on her list of personal accomplishments. So instead of prying more at Sice, she left her alone - for the moment anyway - and just spoke out a knowing, "Mhm, of course Sice...speculation."
She didn't believe that.
And then of course Sice had to turn the tables on her and go ahead to ask about Nine. Instantly Seven felt just a bit flustered as well. She didn't even know herself if there was anything between her and Nine. Seven hated feeling like a rebound from Emina - despite Nine never having had a chance with her - and despite Nine's denial of that being the case, she still felt as if it might be truthful. Besides that, Nine could definitely try her patience. From pinning her down in the stables to pretend to kiss her and then not, to showing up at her dorm late at night, completely drunk - and very...very affectionate, Nine continued to baffle her mind. She didn't know quite how to address him or just what she should do around him, and then there was that matter of always feeling the damn butterflies - just like she was now - whenever he was around or she thought too hard about him.
Despite wanting to just instantly deny Sice's words, Seven felt that she should be honest with her friend. After all, she would just be a hypocrite if she was trying to force information from the younger girl, but then denied giving her any information in the same situation. So Seven turned her attention to the purple dress she held in her hands, picking lightly at the fabric and then glancing up at the heels they were looking at."I don't...really know for sure if there's anything between Nine and I, and that's the honest truth," she claimed. Nodding her approval when Sice held up the pair that she liked, Seven tried to snap out of her deep thoughts regarding Nine. He wasn't a deep person, but-...well, was her heart already involved even if he was completely an immature teenage boy that had feelings for probably every pretty girl he met? Well...it could be, but Seven walked quietly toward the cash register, holding up her dress to the woman there and reaching for money from her pocket to pay for it. The lady was obnoxiously chit chatty though, and 'ooh'ed and 'aww'ed over the dress and who she was wearing it for. To be perfectly honest with herself, Seven could admit who she was wearing the blasted dress for, even if she didn't like it.
She was wearing it for Nine. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words:; 746 Muse:; Great! Location:; Shopping spree! Outfit:; That one I linked! Tagged:; Sice Notes:; XD These poor girls Listening To:;[/b] --

Sice didn’t want to know how much Seven actually knew the night after Trey’s birthday party. That had been a disaster that she didn’t particularly like to think about, what with all of the crazy crap that had happened that late night, or rather, very early morning. Even now it brought on a slight headache, and she did her best to throw Seven off of that topic of conversation even if it hadn’t been done gracefully or elegantly. But, hey, this was Sice. So long as she had gotten it over with, then that was perfectly fine with her. Though, of course, she had done the exact same thing with Seven about Nine, but Seven had the upperhand and brushed it off easily which made Sice glare at her and make her shoulders drop out of disappointment. Sometimes she wondered about her roommate...She would have to watch her very carefully.
Allowing those thoughts to come and go, she crossed her arms, scowled, and waited for Seven to pay for her stuff. At least there was something to look forward to after this. Food. Lovely food. Now that was something Sice could enjoy anytime, anywhere, any day. Even if it was something that was necessary to continue living. She was just happy she had a high metabolism, and that she moved around so much when she used her scythe. Those two were definitely positives when it came to a chili cheese fry lover like herself. However, she was broken out of her food reverie when she noticed Seven heading for the cashier to pay for her dress and shoes, and the scythe wielder followed after her, her own dress and shoes over her arm and in her hand respectively. Sice put her other hand in the pocket of her shorts, and let it rest on the pile of gil that was contained within as she waited for her roommate to buy her things. Unfortunately, it didn’t go unnoticed by the scythe wielder that the cashier was one of those stupid chatty ones who never seemed to stop talking, like someone she knew, but Trey was at least intelligent. This woman just kept going on and on about Seven’s dress, and Sice didn’t even want to think about what was going to be said about her own dress.
Seven finished paying for her dress, and Sice took the step forward to bring her up to the cashier counter and placed her stuff on the counter to let the chatty lady do her job. Unfortunately, she grabbed the dress and started to talk at lightspeed, gawking over the “absolutely gorgeous peacock feather” and “the positively stunning shoes.” Sice resisted the hard urge to turn away and gag. Instead, she just let her eyes narrow into their natural glare as she cupped her hand over the gil in her pocket and pulled the coins out. “Yeah, whatever. What the hell do I owe ya, lady?” Though, she then had to keep herself from having a heart attack right there from the amount that showed up on the little screen. That damn much for a dress and a pair of shoes!? That was it. From this moment forth she was sticking with sweatshirts and pants. Grumbling, sh slammed down the necessary girl and grabbed her purchase before turning and walking over to her roommate. “Let’s go. I don’t want to be in this place anymore.”
