Personality:
Frimelda is the free soul, she loves to wander like a nomad across the lands fighting evil and protecting others. Her kind heart lets her take upon any request without considering how small the price can be, she considers this as part of her training on her quest to become the best sword master ever known. Frimelda is humble, charismatic and straightforward, she bears no flag and does not pledge loyalty to anybody but herself. She walks her own path, following her own rules and lending her sword to those who need it.
The paladin is very tactical and cautious; she loves men as she loves her freedom. Frimelda dislikes selfishness, intolerance and materialism; she thinks those are dishonored personalities that will not make anyone achieve self-realization. She loves nature, open areas and challenges. Unlike any other blade masters, this woman does not base her power by dueling others, however, she proves herself by making heroic achievements and writing them in history.
History:
Frimelda was known better as the Blademaster of Jylland. She wielded her sword across the lands writing history and heroic tales told to children as fantasy stories. She used to partner a man named Luc Sardac, a paladin who felt inspired by this woman and sought to surpass Frimelda in blade mastery. During a short period of time, they got involved in a romantic relationship. Luc, realizing that Frimelda was a better swordswoman than he was; the man let envy take over himself and then he poisoned the paladin with a Zombie Powder on her food. Frimelda was left for dead, while Luc took his beloved sword, the Fallen Angel, and then journeyed to achieve the fame he never could attain while traveling with her. Frimelda woke after several days, with her skin all rotted away and a monstrous look that no one will recognize… she became zombie trapped between the life and death realms.
Frimelda never realized she was turned into an undead being, even though her voice and mental capabilities were heavily damaged by her zombified state. She sometimes felt the urge to act as a beast and slay numerous monsters for her own hunger. Using her last shred of consciousness, Frimelda sought for a cure by setting numerous request for different mercenary clans to aid her. Clan Gully, lead my Luse Clemens, agreed to provide Frimelda with various potions, Frimelda believing this will heal her injuries. When she applied such curative liquids, the effect was reversed and she felt intensified pain whether the potions made contact with the rotted skin. Realizing she was undead, Frimelda’s anger made her decide that the only way to solve her problem was to find Luc Sardac himself and make him heal her.
For various days, Frimelda stalked the one who turned her into this monster. Luc couldn’t recognize her past love and he kept running from the undead being, not knowing how to deal with such a beast. Luc Sardac then confronted Frimelda when he hired the Gully Mercenaries, but instead Luso and his companion Cid recognize the undead creature as Frimelda Lotice. Luc then turn against the hired mercenaries and Frimelda joins Luso to fight the pitiful man. After being defeated, Luc gains his composure and explains the nature of the poisoning; stating he did not know a way to revert the deathly process. Ashamed of his deeds, Luc offered his life to Frimelda, but she refused and instead retrieved the Fallen Angel and handed it to Luso. She then wandered away, hopeless about her condition.
Luc Sardac looked for Frimelda in the Kthhili Sands and ended up being surrounded by other undead monsters. Suddenly Luse Clemens and his clan appear on the scene to save the day, and provide Frimelda with the cure to cleanse her undead state. A blaze of red light released the paladin from her curse and turned her back into a normal human. She refuses to slay Sardac down and forgives him and then as a repayment, she joins Gully Clan.
Later on, blade master Ghi made a request so Frimelda meets him within the Ruind of Delgantua for a duel. After the fearsome duel, Frimelda realized this man was the one that sacrificed his health to synthetize the potion that cleansed her. Frimelda honors Ghi as the man retreated to find a place to die.
Finally, when Luse Clemens finished his Grimoire and returned home. Frimelda bit farewell to her long time companions as she fulfilled her promise to repay them. She travelled many lands making quests on her own until she settled in the kingdom of Dalmasca where she became a mercenary to slay marks. This not only aided her to become a better blade master, but also helped others by slaying gruesome monsters.

The Start
The paladin from Jylland stood in front of the newly crowned queen of Dalmasca. The swordswoman used to travel various lands honing her skills with a long time friend before joining a group of mercenaries. Now after the disbandment of such group, the paladin worked her way to be part of the new era that is about to befall the Kingdom of Dalmasca under the new ruler. Just recently, Frimelda Lotice has been signing up to slay various marks, her deeds and fame made her very suitable for the tasks, her skills have amazed many people. She was inspired by how women were starting to take on roles only men were assigned to foremost, by how this renown queen fought for her kingdom and by the heroic tales spread across the streets of Dalmasc. This place seemed to be a whole new experience, a whole new world for the rightful knight
The paladin returned to her room at a dalmascan inn, she slowly placed her belongings on the rustic rosewood cabinet and looked outside the wide opened windows. From her position, she could see the busiest town ever seen, many races freely walking the streets and guards all over the place. It was a majestic place, full of details and impressive décor. Frimelda desired to look around the grand city thinking as a civilian, but she was attached to her duties to just leave as such. Soon a voice called for her attention, she turned waving her copper colored unruly hair to meet this person.
“Greetings, personally I have heard stories from you. The Kingdom of Dalmasca is grateful to have the Paladin of Jylland fighting some of the most gruesome marks in these lands” A man wearing one of the finest armor decorated with the royal emblem spoke with a humble smile. Frimelda blushed for a few seconds then proceeded to salute the captain. “Greetings captain, I am flattered by your compliment. Is there anything I can serve you sir?” Frimelda said very welcoming as she pointed out the jar filled with crystal clear water on the end table. “For what reason, did someone like you decided to aid our country” The man asked surprising Frimelda, she bit her lips and looked at her gloved hand, she then looked directly into the eyes of the man standing before her. “It was the righteous decision, as a paladin, I feel the need to protect others sir” Frimelda responded. “Then, I have to ask if you may consider joining the royal guards of Dalmasca” The captain replied while placing a sheet of paper on the end table, just by the jar.“Sir, I am a paladin. However, before being a paladin I am myself” She replied to the sudden invitation.
Frimelda then took a step closer to watch the guardsmen application sitting over the end table; she then held the jar carefully and drowned the document on water. The captain raised an eyebrow and almost giggled to such action while he crossed its arms expecting a further reaction from the woman. “Sir, I meant no disrespect with such action. This just explains better than words how would I feel if I sign these documents. It is quite a pleasure to be presented with such an honor, but I will rather decline the offer and continue to lead a freelancer life, like I have done so far if I may say” Frimelda acted very educated and without lacking manners. By the reaction of the captain, she perceived he could understand the desire of this woman to bear no flag, nor emblem. “I bid farewell then Miss Lotice, if your mind ever changes I will be expecting your visit. In the meantime, feel free to take upon our marks, the help is always appreciated”
As the captain left and closed the door, Frimelda remembered those days she used to be a free soul, wielding her sword with grace and skill and act upon her own will. The stories people wrote down about the fearless woman that dealt with impurities without holding any flag or siding anybody. A smile drew on her face, as memories from her deeds became an image. The paladin grabbed her sword, and left the room to fulfill her next task.
