The city of Costa Del Sol was as lively as it always had been. Whether it be the wave of girls that were on the beach, or the seagulls squawking away. Katana took a deep breath and took in the atmosphere of the city. He breathed it out and talked to himself, "Man its good to be on vacation." A couple of fine looking girls saw him and waved up at him. He returned the gesture and said, "Are you pretty young ladies going to the beach?" The girls only giggled to each other and walked off on their own. Katana knew he was just shot down, but he didn't care. Its vacation time and he had a couple of days to find a nice woman to keep him company. He turned around and looked at the hotel room he had rented. It was basic looking, and no where as lavishing as he would want it to be, but since he was no longer with the Turks, money was a big factor in his living expenses. He shrugged his shoulders and was about to go downstairs to the bar for a drink, but his foot accidentally tripped over one of his cases.
When he knocked the case over, his katana fell out of it and slid slightly out of its scabbard. He stopped to pick up the sword, and unsheathed it completely from his scabbard. He placed the blade of the sword in his other hand as he carefully examined the blade. He noticed a smudge on one end of the sword from a fingerprint, and this bothered him a bit. He reached into his trunk and pulled out a handkerchief. He wiped the smudge away, and then wiped the whole blade once over to keep it slick and clean. Satisfied with the condition of his sword, he slid it back into its scabbard carefully before placing it against the wall.
The sword had brought back a bunch of memories, times of when he was with the Turks. Now, times weren't always fun and games, there was always missions to do, and assignments to complete, but he'll never forget them. He smirked a bit as he realized that possibly the only reason he chose to come back here to Costa Del Sol, is because this is where the Turks used to come to relax as well. Whether it be relaxing on the beach, or hanging out at the bar, times were always good here. He closed his eyes and inhaled slowly as he sat there wondering what the others were doing right now.
Then almost as if to answer his thoughts, his cellphone started ringing. He reached over to the nightstand and picked up his phone before answering, "Helllo?" A low murmur could be heard from the phone and Katana's expression changed slightly to one of curiosity, but happy as well. "Tseng? How you been? Really your leading the Turks now huh?" A couple of minutes of conversing started between the two of them before Katana nodded his head and said, "Alright...I got ya." He hung up the phone and stood up slowly. He walked over towards the balcony again, and stared down at the beach where the girls were. "Sorry ladies. Looks like I'm back on the clock again."
He walked back into the room and threw off his orange Hawaiian shirt. He took off his swim trunks as well before rummaging through his trunk for an outfit. He put on his white buttoned up long-sleeved dress shirt, and tucked it into his black slacks. He wrapped the belt around his waistline and shackled it down, before pulling his black coat over it. He looked at himself in the mirror, while wearing the traditional Turks outfit, and only smirked to himself. He unbuttoned the top button and threw his katana over his shoulder before walking out of the hotel room.
