"The Milites are superior, always have been, always will be."
Custom Title: ..::WhiteThunder::..

Home World: Oriens - Milites Empire
Alignment: Milites
Job: Brigadier General for the Milites

Appearance Qator stands at roughly 6'2" with blonde hair that flips towards the left side, a few bangs hanging over his forehead and having part of it spiked. He has blue eyes but his left one has a scar over it, though this isn't seen, it is covered with a back eye patch that has tiny silver embellishments on it. Qator wears the uniform for the Milites army, though his is higher class being a General and all, it's colors are very bland and he has a thick red scarf-like addition around his neck going into the chest of his uniform. His uniform dons large shoulder guards, black gloves, and his main coat is long in length. He wears basic black military pants and boots to finish up the ensemble.
Personality: Qator is a rather intelligent and determined individual. He is proud to be a Milite, and a General at that, and has no problem with warfare. In fact, he is quite skilled with in comes to any kind of war, he's got the smarts to devise any sort of plan for attack and how to avoid the unnecessary battles that need not be fought. Being a Milite general just shows how loyal he is to his nation, he is loyal to the command of Cid Aulstyne, he never has questioned the man's motives for anything and just does what is told. If one didn't know any better, they might simply call him a puppet of the Milite Leader.
Qator may be loyal to his homeland, but that doesn't render him completely heartless. He does have a soft spot depending on the situation and when he is with his comrades he seems to be like a perfectly normal person. Enjoying their company, well some of them at least. He doesn't tolerate foolishness nor does he like it when certain people purposely try to get on his nerves, it's easy to see when he's irritated but he tries keeping himself calm at most times. He has a temper which shows a few times, but not so much, if provoked he will attack, whether it be with words or weapons.
Confidence is another personality trait that sticks with Qator. He is a Brigadier General which means he is good at what he does giving him confidence which can sometimes be a weak point for him. Some times his confidence and cockiness can lead to his downfall, making the fall even worse than it should be. He tries to keep this weakness so to speak, under control instead of getting too far ahead of himself, especially when it comes to battle.
History: During Rubrum's attack on Cogoreen Fortress, Qator personally slaughters many of the opposing soldiers with his Magitek mech before confronting Class Zero. He is forced to fall back after fighting them.
Later in the game, a young merchant girl, Aria Rurikara is placed under the watch of Qator Bashtar, he'd saved her after she'd been sniped by Byakko soldiers and kept a close eye on her. The motives for taking the young lady are unknown at this time.
Later, when Caetuna summons Alexander to defeat Milites, Machina erects a force-field around himself and Qator's Magitek. Due to heavy casualties, Qator decides to retreat. When Class Zero arrives at the capital of Milites, Qator attacks them head on in his Magitek mecha Gabriel before learning that an Ultima nuke secretly installed into the Gabriel has been activated under Cid's order to destroy the city. Refusing to allow this action to occur, Qator takes the nuke into the atmosphere and jettisons it. However, the Gabriel was damaged from the fight and thus was unable to escape the explosion.
After Arecia Al-Rashia removed the crystals from history, the future had been rewritten. Those lives lost in the war were restored and the war had never became an issue in the first place since initially the Milites were after the crystals which now no longer exist. In the nation though, their greed and lust for power hasn't ended, Qator is still a Brigadier General under the command of Cid Aulstyne.

Role Play Sample:
The Milites Empire, a powerful nation among three others.
One might say that this…greedy empire was the greatest of them all! A powerful military behind their smack talk, the muscle behind the words always made everything better. Working his way up the ranks of the military got him a pretty important role. Brigadier General. Always fighting on the frontline or attacking via the magitek armor machines, much like your average war air ship, being a expert pilot got you very far not only on the ground in battle, but it gave you advantages in the air. Qator Bashtar, Brigadier General for the Milites army, an expert pilot, a very intelligent man who had made his way in the world, although with many speed bumps to slow him down…he’d finally made it to where he wanted to be. An important part of a powerful army, he wasn’t all that greedy, but the lust for power dwelled within any human being right? He stood under the command of Cid Aulstyne, followed his every command since he was the real leader of the army…but his intentions, his ideas no matter how whacked out they were…would always fail if they weren’t planned right.
Land and money was of no use to Qator really, sure it was nice, but he wasn’t about to go blow up an entire nation for an acre of land, there needed to be more at stake than that. Of course….Rubrum, that was a nation worth destroying. It held many different…not so much enemies, as it was annoyances. The chances of defeating the Suzaku Peristylium and all its students wasn’t that great, especially when they had people like Arecia Al-Rashia and her precious Class Zero, then there was…Kurasame Susaya, a man Qator knew fairly well, yet he wished he didn’t. The memories just weren’t something he liked to linger on, soon he’d start staring off into space with his one good eye and then he’d be getting questioned. He was a tough military leader, being questioned about your feelings and emotions wasn’t something to be exactly…proud of. People were supposed to look up to you and see you as a strong significant leader, not someone who worries about a haunted past.
Gazing at himself in the reflection of his magitek armor, Gabriel, he frowned, his eyesight drawn to the eye patch over his left eye. His frown soon darkened into a scowl as he felt his muscles tighten, his fists ball up, and his one good eye narrowed. It was that…Kurasame Susaya that gave him this eye patch, or rather, the hideous scar that lay beneath the black patch. Shaking his head, wanting to forget the past, he moved away from the armored machine, wanting to get away from his own reflection, it was nothing but a reminder of how he got the scar, but it was also a reminder of what it took to get this far, even with a bit of a disadvantage. He was half blinded yet still maintained to get this far, if that wasn’t an accomplishment, then he didn’t know what was. But enough self dwelling on his own appearance, there was work to be done. Though plans hadn’t actually been set into motion, Qator had been snooping a bit, wondering what it was Cid had been looking at next, what was he planning to do this time around…if anything of course. The only thing he could really figure out from a few pieces of paper with chicken scratch all over them was…vortexes, portals if you will, they were unknown forces that could be harnessed, used to the Empire’s advantage, then what? Well, that was what they needed to figure out. What exactly were these portals? Where did they lead? And could one actually manipulate their power?
‘No doubt Cid’s already got his eyes on them.’
There wasn’t much known about all these portals that had been sweeping people away or dropping new ones off, but from Qator’s point of view, they were a very powerful force that one could not predict. One does not simply harness the power of an unknown force without knowing what good it would do. Still, the blond couldn’t help but wonder, it was all he did anymore. Wonder and think about what tomorrow would bring, what new plans would emerge from the mind of a power hungry leader, what battles would be fought and what people would die. All this time for thought was starting to bother the military General, there was no strategy to devise, no plans to create for the time being, that was all left to Cid Aulstyne for now. Perhaps it was best just to relax for once, not having to stay on edge at all times…then again, most things happened when you weren’t prepared for them. It was a horrible decision to try and make, hang up the sword and gun and relax for a bit, or sit by idly waiting for an opportunity to stroll along and take advantage of.
With a slight grumble, Qator pulled at the red scarf that puffed around his neck and into his military uniform. He gazed out at the streets of the Milites Empire, it was rather quiet at this time of day, the Peristylium would be lively would students walking to and from classes…nothing to compete with the Suzaku Peristylium though, it wasn’t a competition, yet in due time…some form of warfare would erupt between the different nations, and the Milites would of course be the one to fuel the flames. The greedy land hungry nation had been quiet for some time, Qator didn’t mind, but it still left him too much time to think, but something kept him on the edge of his seat, with all this silence going about, that surely meant something was going to happen right?
