(This scene would serve to show how Sephiroth came to exist again after his last defeat)
At an unknown location on Gaia, a beautiful pool of pure mako sits in a lush green forest. It's truly a beautiful day. The sun is shining, the birds are singing and the weather is warm with a pleasant breeze blowing. The animals in the forest are all calm and enjoying this magnificent peace. It's such a relaxed, tranquil day. It is, indeed, a pity that it is all about to go to hell.
Dark storm clouds begin rolling in. The weather was supposed to be calm today, but it's obvious a storm is brewing. The birds seem to scatter. They want to be anywhere but here. They aren't the only ones as all the wild life in the surrounding area seem to clear out. Something is not right here. Something is very wrong, in fact.
The pool of mako begins to bubble, but only slightly. The rain suddenly begins to poor down. The sky is weeping. It seems to be the first to understand the magnitude of this day. Thunder fills the ears and lightning seems to assault the sky. The bubbles in the mako grow bigger and pop up more and more often. Suddenly it happens. Like a newborn baby being pushed from the womb, Sephiroth bursts through the surface in a panic.
He coughs like man drowning, and hurriedly looks around as to ascertain his surroundings. He swims for the surrounding land, bare as a baby. The One Winged Angel has been born again. Sephiroth crawls out of the mako, and remains on all fours for a minute coughing, gagging up the mako in his throat. Finally, he finishes and begins to chuckle.
Hehehe. Wow. So, Cloud actually managed to prevail again. Unbelievable.
Slowly, Sephiroth rose to feet. As he rose his body became encased in a black gel-like substance, before finally returning him to his classic attire by the time he was in a fully upright position. He slicked his hair back and his eyes glowed their signature, their striking, their beautiful, their sinister shade of green. An all too familiar smirk placed itself onto Sephiroth's face.
When will they learn? I won't go away. I CANT just go away. No matter how much they wish for it. Gaia and I are intertwined. As long as this world exists...so will i.
Sephiroth took a seat on a nearby tree stump. He had to think over the state of things since his departure. The lifestream runs through Gaia, but it feels the other worlds as well. And as such, it had given Sephiroth an idea of what had been going on.
Why is it that all of these wretched, filthy humans think that they can take my world away from me; away from my mother. I am the chosen to lead this world into a new era of darkness in the cosmos. Yet, these other forces believe that that they can steal my birth right. Hehehehehe
Sephiroth broke out into a fit of laughter over how ludicrous this was. Someone else wanting to plunge the world into darkness. That was his job.
Fine, then. I see how it is. I wanted to sail the cosmos with this world as my vessel. It would seem, though, that to enjoy a prosperous voyage....I'll need to tame the cosmos first.
Sephiroth extended his hand to the pool of mako, and from it rose a shape, a shape that begin to make itself longer and longer, and sharper and sharper. Soon, the mako dripped away from it, revealing his Masamune which flowed back into Sephiroth's familiar grasp.
Don't worry, mother. Not just this world, anymore. All of them. I'll make them all pay for trying to steal away what they know to be ours.
