Reno Sinclair
"Ah your mom's cool....what the hell am I saying!?"
Custom Title: Second in Command
Age: 25-26
Gender: Male
Family: Unknown, Turks are "family"
Race: Human
Sexual Orientation: Straight
Home World: Gaia
Alignment: Neutral//ShinRa
Job: Second in Command of the Turks
Items: Electro Mag Rod
Accessories: Goggles on forehead, earring, Cell phone
Personality: He is cocky, cynical, and somewhat lazy. Despite his appearance and attitude, Reno is regarded to be a relatively prominent worker; while second in command he takes his job with pride and obtains skills that allow him to surpass many of his fellow Turks.
He works hard and dedicates his life to Shinra and as a Turk he does as he is told without hesitation. He possesses a rebellious temperament and his actions are in turn quite sadistic, which can be contradictory to his laid back personality
History: Reno is first encountered when he comes to the slums church with soldiers in an attempt to capture Aeris. Not long after, he sets the bombs that blows up the Sector 7 pillar, but not without fighting Cloud, Barret, and Tifa, which leaves him temporarily incapacitated. He later confronts them outside of Gongaga Village with his long-time partner, Rude, to settle the score, but once again has to back down. Despite this rivalry, he is not beyond teaming up with Cloud and the others in Wutai, where both parties had a bone to pick with Don Corneo, who had taken Elena and Yuffie Kisaragi hostage. He and Rude can also be found observing the Sunken Gelnika, and fight Cloud and his party once more.
He is encountered one last time when the Turks are in the subway tunnels of Midgar, Reno says that he is "not really up for" fighting, even though he and the others were ordered to terminate the protagonists; the player has the option of not fighting them.
Along with Rude, Reno has a prominent role in Advent Children. Reno makes his entrance flying the Shinra helicopter over the Northern Cave, where the Turks are in search of Jenova's head. He escapes when Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo interrupt their investigation. He is then seen attacking Cloud when he first arrives at the Healin Lodge, although this seems a bit half-hearted; consistent with his attitude at the end of the game, Reno possesses no true hostility towards his former enemies. He and Rude are on the same side as the protagonists and join the fight against Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo. He is then seen near the opening of a tunnel with Rude, explosives in hand with Rude, having a light-hearted conversation, despite the fact they may be caught in the explosion. As soon as Cloud rushes by on his motorcycle, Reno drops the bomb he was holding with a smile. Loz, Yazoo, Rude, and himself are all caught in the explosion and implied to have died. However, this is shown to not be the case as both Loz and Yazoo shot Cloud near the end of the film, albeit mortally wounded. Reno and Rude are also shown to have survived as they are seen with the surviving members of Shinra, taking witness to Rufus’ Geostigma disappearing.
Reno is shown to be a fearsome fighter by attacking Yazoo without warning. However, they primarily serve as the comic relief, exemplified by the cartoon violence during the same fight in Edge (such as Reno accidentally hitting Rude with his weapon). Interestingly, Reno's design overhaul for the film eliminates the somewhat sly and shady air he had in the original game. He still acts in a somewhat sly manner, however he is far more lighthearted and playful in the movie than he was in the game.
After the events of Advent Children, ShinRa was building its way back up to gain its trust from the people once again. Doing missions and working as usual, Reno was surprised to see an old friend return to the Turks. Cissnei. The two hung out together and Reno had started getting feelings for her. Strange feelings he wasn't quite sure what to do with, so he went out on a limb and asked her out. Surprised by her response they had gone out on a date, Reno asking her to be his girlfriend and them turning out to be a seeminly perfect couple.
While on a mission, Cissnei and Reno had gotten separated while fighting off some goons and chasing down their 'man' to nab for ShinRa. Reno had come across a Pulse Fal'Cie, dragged from that world of Gran Pulse and was transformed into a L'Cie himself. After taking on a battle with the Eidolon Diablos, Reno had plotted his escape from ShinRa...and from his inevitable focus. Trying to leave, Cissnei ran after him in tears, but it just wasn't enough to make Reno stay, his focus was to destroy ShinRa and despite Cissnei's tears, he didn't want her to go through that or anyone else. So he left for Kalm, a tiny town to clear his thoughts, but that didn't last. Soon a 'rescue squad' of Cissnei, Rude, Rufus and even Rod came to get him.
Rufus had tried to gun Reno down but the others wouldn't let him...that was a life saver. Reno finally decided it was stupid to run off and ditch everything, he would make the most out of life and not worry about this focus for now. Realzing he was wrong, realizing he loved Cissnei, truly he did...Reno proposed to her and she accepted.

Role Play Sample: Reno glanced away from Zack as he kept staring at that building. What could he be thinking about? Like Reno really cared. He didn't now Zack as well as the others but considered him an aquaintance none the less. Besides, Reno had his mind on other things as well. Like where the heck was Rude?! And why he hadn't heard from Rufus ShinRa. Could something be wrong? He didn't want to bother anyone and ask around, so he figured, if they wanted to talk to Reno, they'd have to come find him. He wasn't going on a wild goose chase trying to find people.
After throwing the banana Reno kept himself calm and not even a smirk went across his face, especially when Zack had his buster sword out. But Reno couldn't resist even the smallest of smirks. He grinned at Zack with a smirk and shoved his hands in his pockets. His smirky smile fell a little but still remained. "5 years eh? It's been that long?" It didn't seem to long ago. "You're pretty lucky to have escaped the life stream."
But his grin quickly deminished when Zack asked about hunting him down. That was one thing Reno wasn't very proud of, but in the past he didn't really have a choice, it was a order that had to be followed. "I'm just taking an Innocent stroll...No one's hunting down anyone...at least not that I am aware of." He shrugged. "Of course, i wouldn't know, I haven't heard from Rufus or Rude or anyone lately." I wonder where they are...he added in his head looking down a bit. He hated being out of the loop of things. "But yeah, i guess im still fighting for ShinRa." He said looking back up at zack.
"Oh. The banana...I figured it would be nicer than either hitting you with the electro-mag rod or ignoring you to some how get you're attention." He shrugged as his smirky smile came back to his face. "I see you have your eye on this building." Reno nodded towards the building Zack had been looking at for his new business. "You starting up a business or something?" Reno asked just making light conversation. "Cloud has a delivery business not far from here right?" He didn't really care, of course Cloud and Tifa were Reno's friends too, but now he didn't really care for anything.
