It felt like déjà vu once more, as if there were something Terra had been forgetting. Her memories, they were quite fuzzy, but it was as if she had woken up from a dream and thought it too real, yet too crazy to have actually happened. Still, there was something that had convinced her that this strange dream of hers had been a reality. As she sat on the ground with her ankles folded one over the other, her hands were rubbing gently over a rounded crystal in her lap. It was black and red in color, it had the design of flames over it, and somehow she knew this was a sign. She’d never seen this crystal before, aside from in her crazy dreams. Those dreams of hers though, they were long lasting and felt more like an adventure than anything else. She could remember a few faces, and some names even came to mind. Kefka, the chaotic clown god had come in her dreams, or rather her nightmares whenever he was involved, but it all just seemed too surreal to forget and shrug off.
Gently rubbing one hand against the smooth crystal, Terra let her eyebrows furrow, blinking and letting the images of her dreams flash to her mind. She remembered Kefka, she remembered fighting even though she didn’t want to. She never wanted to hurt anyone with her dangerous powers, and the fact that she was half esper didn’t help. With the wrong move she could easily hurt someone, it simply took a lot of self control on her part to make sure that she remained as calm as she was, though anything could scare her should it pose enough of a threat. Anyways, her dreams. She also remembered being taken away from Kefka, away from the evil and fighting by a blond boy, what was his name…she remembered his introduction when he’d first tugged her away from the mad clown, but she just couldn’t place her finger on it. It’s come back to her eventually, of that she was sure…the dreams always did.
Shifting around with a small sigh, Terra slowly got to her feet, cradling the fiery crystal in one arm as she looked around, stretching onto her toes and looking at the rebuilding world around her. Ever since Kefka’s defeat, the world had started to grow again, it was pleasing to the blond haired hybrid. As she felt the smile on her face, she took a few steps within the grass, her eyes gazing down at the crystal she held, still racking her brain for some ideas as to where these crazy dreams had come from. Had she been hanging around children far too long? Well no, that couldn’t be possible, she loved children, she’d come to discover that not too long ago, and never once had they given her any trouble, yet these dreams of hers made her wonder sometimes. Hmm, stopping abruptly, Terra raised her free hand to her lips, gently tapping her fingertips against her lower lip before whispering out something that randomly came to mind.
“Vaan.”
Why did that name sound familiar? Was that the blond boy in her dreams, the one who had pulled her away from Kefka? Well, at least something was coming back to her. It was better than being completely empty of memories, and as time progressed, she usually did have random remembrances like that. The first time she had any of these facts coming to mind, she remembered something called ‘Dissidia’, then a man named Cloud, and now Vaan? Slowly things were coming back to her and though she didn’t understand them, she accepted them. There had been a war in her dreams despite how little she liked to fight, but no matter what, she fought for the right reasons should she ever choose to step on the battlefield. “My powers are not for harming others, they are for protecting those in need. Whether it was a dream or not, that does not matter, the statement still stands.” She spoke aloud to the air, just in case for some reason some dark entity was watching her, which always made her paranoid, but hey, if she was strong enough to face an army of Chaos’, then she could accomplish just about anything.
With a few hesitant steps away from where she had previously been sitting, Terra stopped and looked out in the field, her bright blue eyes searching, a bit of happiness would be nice, she wished so see the smiling faces of her friends. Celes, Locke, all of them...with a small quiet sigh to herself, she clutched the crystal close to her body, wondering where it was she needed to wander to next. 842 Great? >> Sabin >>Click<< Something >> enjoy!

The sun was shining, the air was warm. What else could somebody ask for a summer day?
Sabin jogged along the familiar forest path, on his way to the location of his master's dojo. Though Duncan had moved his dojo after his supposed 'death', he had returned to his dojo by South Figaro. It was there that he had spent ten years of his life, training to be able to, one day, help Edgar when his brother was in need. He had accomplished this, and learned from his master, the ultimate blitz, phantom rush. His training, in retrospect, was completed. He had learned all that he could learn. Or so was the thinking he could fall in trapped to. But there was always more to learn, always more that he could do to become stronger. Well...at least mentally stronger anyway. Smarter. And so he was going to go back to Duncan and train with him, or spar. It had been awhile since his last visit to the older martial artist, and Sabin wondered how he was doing. Duncan's wife - who had been a mother to him for those ten years - had been delighted to see him, giving him a fierce hug that even made his ribs hurt. Even now the smile of hers made him grin. Why was it that he felt more like this was his home, then the Figaro castle? And like Duncan and his wife more like parents then his own? True, he had deeply loved and respected his father, and the king had been a good father, but he had been dead for over ten years. Memories faded. And of course, he had no memories of his mother at all. If not for his brother, Sabin would spend all of his time by his adopted parents.
When he got to the open, grassy field however, Sabin stopped jogging, a smile on his face. It was nice...so sunny, and the breeze felt great. So he stretched his muscles and then relaxed, rolling his neck to the side, blue eyes once again glancing down the slope toward where the dojo was hidden in some more trees. He'd like to get there pretty quick. So picking up his pace again, Sabin jogged through the knee length grass toward where his master was undoubtedly training the younger members of the dojo. He wondered if some of them that had been there before were still there. And then-...well, there was the possibility of-...who...would become the new master? Sabin had always known that it would be Duncan's son, but...Vargas...
So he knew what that meant. But did he want to be the new master one day? Perhaps...one day. He wouldn't mind a quiet life, being the master and training the younger men, but...for now, he was glad that Master Duncan was still here to do so. Perhaps...if he was asked, years in the future, Sabin wouldn't mind taking over. He really wanted his life to be like Duncan. A loving wife, a quiet town, and martial arts. He wouldn't mind all that...one day. For now, he was just too free and happy being so to think about it.
Humming to himself as he went along, Sabin jogged to the rhythm, his steps fluid despite his overbearing stature. A man his size could only generally move with such ease and assurance if they were confident about themselves. And he had plenty of confidence about himself.
So full were his thoughts, that the large man almost ran down the young woman before he saw her. "Woah!", he stated out, skidding to a stop as he crested the small hill to avoid running into the young woman he knew so well. "Terra!" A grin covered his features then, before he slowed the momentum of his body down and turned toward her, happiness written on his features. "What are you doing here? Huh? Doesn't look like there's any saving the world to be doing around here," he casually stated, walking closer toward her. Wrapping his large arms around her, Sabin forced himself to remember to be gentle, but lifted her off the ground slightly to do so. Setting her back down, he released her and stepped away, blue eyes sparkling. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words:; 877 Muse:; Great! Being south of Figaro, Terra figured that she could stop in and say hello to Edgar and Sabin while she was nearby, then perhaps travel further onwards and find Locke or Celes, no doubt those two would be near each other, and perhaps spotting Relm around would be nice, in fact, just seeing the faces of all of her friends would bring some ease to her mind, and maybe bring those oh so vivid dreams away from her mind. Terra sighed quietly to herself, a hand gently rubbing against the crystal still being cradled in her arm as she kept walking, though she was simply wandering aimlessly for now, she was enjoying the outdoor air. The sky was pretty clear, as was the air, what wasn’t there to enjoy out here? Walking through the grass at a rather slow pace, she felt her cape and hair whip around behind her, a small smile on her face as blue eyes then turned downwards to look at the black and red crystal she held, feeling those vivid dreams come back to her mind once more.
Shaking her head slightly, blond curly hair hitting her face as she did so, she pulled her gaze upwards and towards the fields and hills ahead of her. With slow yet very steady strides, Terra just took a deep breath and exhaled just as deep, trying to clear her head, and that seemed to do the truck, especially when a sound had pulled her from the peaceful nature of these fields. The sound of footsteps, a heavier set of footsteps making sound in the grass rather than her own silent and very light steps, that was what had gained her attention. Turning her head slightly, she caught sight of a large figure nearly running her over, and by first glance and by instinct, she turned back, curling herself down a bit and feeling the crystal fade from her grip, she had her arms tight around her stomach, a slight wince of a yelp before she realize there had been no collision, but nearly, she could’ve been flattened really, like road kill. After she registered the voice and put it with the large figure she had seen, Terra carefully lifted her head up, blue eyes searching and landing on a friendly face, far too friendly.
With a quiet exhaled breath and placing a hand over her accelerated heart, Terra put a small smile on her lips, happiness crossing all of her features before she gave Sabin a small nod and a tiny chimed laugh to add to it. He was always so cheerful and peppy, enough to keep the smiles going for days. “I’m not really sure what I’m doing out here, I was just going to head to Figaro to see you and Edgar.” She answered quickly, her hand moving from her heart to her other hand, clasping them in front of her before she saw the hug coming and knowing Sabin he could easily snap her like a twig, luckily he was such a gentle giant, literally. “I see you’re the same as ever, not that it’s been that long.” She admitted while being hugged and picked up off the ground, which wasn’t difficult, especially since she weighed a whopping one hundred and five pounds, she was sure if Relm really tried, even she could pick Terra up. “Where are you heading off to? Since there is no world saving, I would’ve figured you’d be in Figaro helping Edgar run things.” Hmm, maybe Sabin would be able to understand those dreams of hers? Or would he find her completely crazy? Well it was worth a shot, he’d at least listen, Terra knew that much for sure.
Back on the ground, she clasped her hands behind her back, fiddling slightly with her cape as she rocked on her heels. Terra took a brief moment to think about her words, and it was then she dismissed the idea of explaining her Dissidia dreams, they weren’t worth the time, besides, this was supposed to be one of those happy reunion types of things, no need to bring in a therapy session. She could ask Celes or Locke about it later and get their opinion on it all. “Wherever you’re going, mind if I tag along for a little while?” Words: 832 Muse: Great! Sabin would have loved Terra's company, and he was sure Edgar would as well. Actually...Edgar might like her company a bit too much. Edgar had always been good with the ladies of course, having been the bigger, strapping brother when they were in their teenage years. It seemed like the ten years they had been apart had just enhanced his desire to be with ladies. So much so that Sabin could do nothing but shake his head and slap his forehead. And Edgar was still not happy about the last time Sabin had walked in on his attempts to woo some girl. Hey, hey, hey, it hadn't been his fault that he was genuinely concerned about his brother and wanted to see how his rash had worked out well. Unfortunately, the girl had fled, and Sabin had been left to deal with a very unhappy King of Figaro. The point in all this was...well, that Edgar would like Terra's company just as much as he would. After all, she was a beautiful girl. As was Celes, and eventually, Relm.
Lifting her up and into his friendly bear hug, he set her back down and grinned at her. "Well you can come any time. I'd be glad to see you, and Edgar...well, he would too I'm sure. You know how he is," he mentioned with a grin. At her commenting about looking just the same as always, a booming laugh came from the man, matching his outward appearance. After his laugh subsided he nudged her with his elbow, a good natured wink sent in her direction. "So I'm still a bear of a man, hmm?" Sabin couldn't help but tease her about how she had reacted when first seeing him. It didn't honestly bother him one bit though, even amused him. He was big, no getting around it. But that wasn't a bad thing. He was the way he was to protect Edgar and Figaro. He shuddered at the thought of how Edgar would have been crushed by that pipe had he not gotten strong enough to hold it up and off him. Or the child in that collapsing building. Yup! He was a hero, no getting around it. They all were.
At her mention of thinking he would be back in figaro, the young man shrugged. "I came from there, but Edgar's being a grump right now. Didn't take too well for me causing one of his latest infatuations to run off. Besides, he's a better king anyway. I never wanted to be a king, so I'd rather just stay out of the major country decisions." In Sabin's mind, though he had the bloodlines of royalty and his brother was a king, he would just rather simply be a guy. He didn't want to be king, so he was happy to be able to come and go as he pleased and just be friends with the people of Figaro. Duncan's dojo was just as much home to him as the castle, if not more. Duncan and his wife just as much family to him as Edgar, standing in as his adopted parents. People he had lived with and been treated as such for ten years. Since their son had tried to kill Duncan and Sabin had had to do the same, he had become their only son.
Her question about coming with him surprised the big man. Studying her, playing with her cape, he felt affection for her. She was something, that was for sure. He admired her and her strength, even if it was a very different strength then he himself had. Reaching out, he patted her in the shoulder. "I was heading out to Duncan's dojo, but you can tag along if you want to! I mean, I’d enjoy the company, and I know I’m awesome enough that you would enjoy my company as well,” he casually stated with another nudge with his elbow. It wasn’t that he was egotistical, just confident in his own awesome-ness. Yup…totally. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words:; 843 Muse:; Great! Location:; Field Outfit:; Normal! It was nice to see such a happy and friendly face, in fact, it distracted Terra completely from the confusion of those dreams she had been having. She sure as heck did enjoy the company of her friends, whether it was Locke, Celes or even Sabin here, it always seemed to bring a smile to her face, and it made her feel safe no matter what was going on as well. “Well I’m glad I’m welcomed, Sabin…and of course you’re still a bear of a man! Still training a whole bunch, I imagine.” She said after being nudged only slightly, a small laugh escaping her lips as she did her best to nudge back with her own elbow while speaking. Yep, completely distracted, not a second thought towards the crystal she had been holding – before Sabin nearly turned her into road kill – all of her thoughts were towards Sabin, Figaro and the fact that she really wished the others lived a lot closer than they did.
“He’s being a grump? Well, that’s not good. In time he’ll get over it though, of that I’m sure.” She gave an assuring nod before crossing her arms behind her back, rocking a bit on her heals and just gazing away from Sabin, more towards the scenery around them, which wasn’t all that spectacular, but the ruralness of it all was nice. Being away from bustling towns and kingdoms, it was just quite relaxing. Asking to tag along wasn’t too bad, I mean, she didn’t expect someone like Sabin to turn her, or anyone else, away for wanting to be in his company. “That sounds like fun, a nice walk. Thanks for letting me tag along, Sabin.” She said, patting his arm quickly before taking a few steps forward, knowing the general direction to be going in, not that she was going to walk fast or try and lead the way. She took slow and simple steps, sure enough Sabin with his HUGE structure would catch up in like…two steps, surpassing her in half as many steps as she was taking just to get a couple feet ahead of him.
Hearing something in the distance, Terra turned a sharp right, looking and placing a hand over her eyes to let her sight be a bit better in the sunlight. A gasp was inhaled through her lips as a complete look of adoration came across her face, and like a shot, she was off and running. “Sabin! Come quick!” Terra was moving quickly as she nearly sprinted, as if some horrible danger was chasing her, but in all…she was going after something, and if she could catch it, then she’d be pretty happy. Moving quickly, Terra had her arms outstretched as she closed in on her target, hearing the silent sounds of ‘kupos’ she had spotted a tiny cluster of moogles. And whenever Terra saw moogles…she needed, absolutely NEEDED to fluff them. It was a hobby of hers, she loved the cute little guys anyways. They needed to be loved and fluffed!
One more step closer!
Terra immediately closed her arms carefully and wrapped them around the cute little moogle, flailing his arms in happiness and kupoing all over at the sudden love he was getting by the cute blonde girl. “It’s so cute!” she cooed quietly towards the moogle, rubbing it’s fuzzy body with one hand as she nuzzled it against her and under her chin, a smile on her face as her eyes closed, completely content. The other few moogles started moving towards her, making those cute kupo sounds as they surrounded Terra, wanting some of the love and attention that she was giving the single moogle in her arms. “Sabin! Sabin’s laugh boomed after Terra mentioned that he was still a bear of a man. Winking at her, he nodded, propping his hands on his waist and puffing out his chest a bit. Nah, it wasn’t that he was egotistical, but he was confident that he knew that he was just about as strong as they came. He could thank Duncan and the last ten years for that. Hard to imagine that he had grown up the ‘shrimpy’ brother. But…well, that was definitely not the case anymore. Edgar got to fulfill that role now! Lucky him. “Yeah, been training with Duncan again. Feels good to get back into the grove of things, and not have to worry about some crazy clown trying to destroy the world.”, he mentioned. And it really was a wonderful thing. But something was missing. He hadn’t really thought about it before, but now that he did, he realized what it was.
Terra had mentioned not being able to see people so much anymore, and now that she actually had mentioned it, Sabin realized that she was right. He saw Edgar, of course, but…aside from that, he hadn’t really seen any of the rest. Cyan was-…well probably driving someone crazy with his manner of speech. He’d heard a rumor that Celes was in Narshe, trying to help rebuild the city there and help the people to get back on their feet again. Locke? Who knew where he was, probably not anywhere nearby. Though he might be close to Narshe. Wherever Celes was, Sabin was sure Locke would be, trying to seduce her or something. These men. Edgar and Locke, both of them had always been the more women crazy of the bunch. It had driven Sabin crazy his entire life growing up. Had driven him crazy when Edgar, even at a tender age, would be sweet talking some woman. And succeeding. How he did it, Sabin would never know. Edgar had gotten all the charm when it came to women. He, on the other hand, had gotten all the looks! It worked out in the end.
And of course, Edgar would get over his grumpiness. Laughing about it, Sabin shrugged it off with a wave of his hand. “Of course he’ll let it go. He’ll see some pretty girl in a skirt and the grumpy will just evaporate right off of him.” It was true. Women always seemed to get Edgar into a good mood. As Sabin called it, ‘a bad habit’ that he’d always had. But you couldn’t teach old dogs new tricks. He was sure that when they were both ninety, Edgar would still be charming eighteen year olds. And by then, he would probably enjoy watching it be done. Well…that just sounded weird.
Thinking back to how rarely they got to see each other, Sabin was more than willing to let Terra come along, he was actually happy about it. After all, they had all been pretty close. He hated to see them drifting apart as soon as there was no threat to the end of the world. So something had to be done about that! Grinning and feeling the pat on his forearm, Sabin just shrugged. “Can’t let a fair maiden sit around with nothing to do when I could grant her my company!”, he teased, before sobering up a bit. “No really, I’m glad I bumped into you. We don’t get to really see anyone these days, you know? I wish I got to see more of you guys. Been awhile since we were all together-…”
But her attention was distracted. When she exclaimed his name and told him to come quick, he furrowed his brow. Before he could question her though, she was off like a shot, leaving him standing there staring at her while wondering why exactly she was running away. “Hey-…wait up!”, his booming voice called after her, before he lengthened out his stride to follow her lead and run. He couldn’t see just what it was that she seemed to want him to see, but he caught up to her fairly quickly, his stride being about twice the size of hers. And then he saw them.
And skidded to a stop.
A little groan escaped his lips, but he started walking again as he closed the distance between him and Terra. And shouting at him to hurry up. With a chuckle coming from his lips, Sabin stepped up beside her, patting her shoulder when he did. “I’m here, I’m here.” Reaching over, he patted the moogle on the head a bit roughly, and then felt the little guys on his feet. Glancing down, he was in time to see the cute little things staring up at him with big eyes. Dropping to one knee, Sabin held out a hand. “Come here!”, his voice boomed out. Instantly they scattered, waddling behind Terra or plain out and out fleeing from the intimidating figure. “Huh…”, he exclaimed, rising to his feet and scratching at his head. “Wonder what their deal is.”

This was nice, seeing Sabin and what not, and certainly on better circumstances rather than dealing with a crazy clown running around wanting to destroy everything. Terra felt a shiver run up her spine at those thoughts. She never liked thinking about the past horrors that everyone had to face, it was just…too much for her to handle, especially the fact that she’d been used as a weapon once upon a time, she’d harmed people…but now she strove to serve the light side and do what she could to help people be safe, not that she liked fighting all that much. She’d still do what she had to in order to keep people safe, if that involved fighting with her magical powers that she was still working on keeping in control – especially her Esper form – then so be it. Her powers weren’t for harming others, they were for protecting others, that was that.
“That sounds like Edgar alright.” She said with an agreeing nod towards the larger figure in front of her as she folded her arms over her chest and just tried to make herself more comfortable. With a smile lingering on her lips, Terra was thankful to have ran into someone whom she liked, and one who always seemed more than happy to be around people. Sabin had such an optimistic personality, he was fun and definitely wasn’t a Debbie downer by any means, there was just such positivity radiating off of him, which was nice and refreshing, especially to someone like Terra who could easily become confused or conflicted with her thoughts and feelings as to what to do and how to approach things, with him around – as well as the rest of the gang – she felt nearly invincible, as if she could do anything, that type of bond wasn’t something that could break easily. Shaking her head some to remove her mind from her deep thoughts, she turned her attention back towards Sabin, still happy to be welcomed. “Well thank you again, I appreciate it…and I really do enjoy the company!” she chimed, letting her eyes wander…and that’s when she saw it.
Terra took off like a shot, she may not have been as fast as Sabin, or even Celes, but she sure was moving for a girl who floated above the ground for a good chunk of time. Her legs sure were moving pretty fast! She’d caught up to the moogle and hugged it close to her, having it nuzzle under her chin as it gave off happy kupo sounds, and those cute little kupos brought forth more moogles that wanted love and attention. Feeling a pat on her shoulder though, Terra turned only slightly and grinned happily, a pure smile of happiness written on her face as she watched Sabin interact with the moogles, a small frown forming on her lips before it was replaced by a pitiful smile. Those poor moogles didn’t do well with big intimidating figures like Sabin, or big booming voices like his. Shaking her head slightly and shifting the moogle to one arm, she patted Sabin’s shoulder and put her finger to her lips then, showing him that he needed to be quiet. Small figures with large sounds never worked well, hell, it even started Terra if she wasn’t expecting it.
“You need to be a little quieter, otherwise they’ll scatter. And be gentle too. Moogles love to be fluffed and given attention, especially if you do it the right way…do you want me to show you?” she asked, a bright and hopeful look coming to her face as she looked almost excited in a way. She would love nothing more than to show someone the proper way to fluff a moogle and show them some love. No that did not involve throwing them at people who you were mad at and having the poor moogle hit a wall. No, we’re not talking about anyone in particular right there, nope not at all. Sabin tried to wave off her thanks for coming out here with her. In all honesty, he couldn’t be happier to be out here with her, rather than back in Figaro with a cranky Edgar. Besides that, Sabin didn’t get to see his friends enough anymore. Sure, he knew that they all got busy with life and such as that, but it shouldn’t have to be that the problems that threatened to destroy the world were the only way to bring them all together again. Really…they really shouldn’t be the only time that they got together, but more and more so, it seemed to really be the only way. Heck, like he’d told Celes, he’d create some problem to threaten the world if it meant that they could be all together. She hadn’t agreed on that, but heck, she was slow as molasses doing anything anyway. He was still wondering what had taken her so long when he’d been holding up the building back there in-…well anyway, Celes wasn’t the point here. The point was that he missed them and the times they’d shared together. And heck, even Cyan and his ‘thou’ speeches. He’d almost give anything right now to be able to hear one of those.
Before he could mention that though, Terra was off. Blinking, Sabin raised his eyes to check out exactly what had gotten her attention, but he couldn’t seem to see it right at the moment. So he started to jog after her, his strides lengthening out to catch up with her. He figured it would only take him a minute, considering how long his legs were and how…not long hers were. Not that she was short or anything, she was just-…short. Well he had to admit it sometime. Not that it made her any less desirable or anything like that, just an observation. Then again, almost everyone was short to him, so that didn’t work. And what was he even thinking about anymore? “Hey Terra?”, he called out questioningly, before he realized just why she had taken off so quickly, and felt a bit of a dread well up within him. Well…alright, moogles, whatever. From past experience, he seemed to recall that Terra had quite the soft spot for said moogles. No wonder she had been so excited when she had looked up and seen the little guys.
Slowing, he took a few steps toward the moogles and dropped to his knee, his booming voice causing them to scatter. Cocking a head to the side and scratching at his wild blonde hair, he raised an eyebrow. “Huh, wonder what their deal is…” He felt Terra’s hand on his shoulder and turned in time to see her raise a finger to her lips. Sabin lifted his other shoulder into somewhat of a shrug when she told him to be quiet. “I’m always quiet,” he pointed out with a lopsided grin on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. He knew that he wasn’t, but he couldn’t help but make fun of that. It was always fun to make fun of yourself instead of being so uptight about everything anyway. He figured that if he wanted everyone else to lighten up, then he was going to have to set the bar for that.
Gentle…gentle… “These moogles seem like an awful lot of trouble,” he mentioned, looking back at the ones that had scattered, remaining a fair distance away and chattering to each other. Scratching at his head, he started to step away when she asked if he wanted her to show him how. Blinking, he gave her a somewhat dumbfounded look. As he was beginning to shake his head back and forth in denial, he noticed the hopeful look she had gotten on her face. He hated to disappoint his friend, so with a slight nod, he resigned himself to it. “Well alright, I suppose. We’ve got the time anyway, right?” Somehow he knew this was going to come back to haunt him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words:; 845 Muse:; Great! Terra had the brightest expression she could possibly muster all over her face. She was completely ready to fluff some moogles, she’d never taken off so fast before, but it was a good thing she did, these little guys were so adorable and were in need of a good fluffing. Holding onto the moogle in one arm and watching the other scatter briefly from Sabin’s intimidating figure and booming voice, she noticed the creatures scrambling to hide behind her boots. A soft smile appeared on her lips as she had mentioned Sabin needed to be quiet. All she could do was shake her head at his comment, which anyone and everyone knew not to be true. He was not quiet at all! Even when he wasn’t talking…his actions were loud enough as it was. Shifting the moogle in her arm to resting in both of her arms, she patted it’s head lightly with a still hopeful look on her face, wanting to teach Sabin the ways of moogle fluffing.
This wasn’t a lesson everyone got to have, so Sabin sould be pretty dang lucky to have an excellent fluffer-teacher like Terra showing him how to fluff the moogles. With a bright grin still on her face as he agreed to allowing her to show him how it was done, Terra held the moogle out at arm’s length, watching it’s little arms and legs flail around as it looked at her. “You’re going to help me teach him how to fluff moogles right?” she squeaked in almost a baby voice as the moogle then wiggled from her hands and floated there, spinning around one and giving off an enthusiastic kupo, as if he were agreeing to aid Sabin in his lack of talent for fluffing moogles. A small light hearted laugh escaped the lips of the half esper being, clasping her hands together before reaching her arms out for the moogle again, motioning her hands towards herself as if to call it back to her. “Let’s get started.”
The moogle flew into her arms, snuggling against her chest and neck, Terra had both arms around the moogle as she patted it again. “Step one, be sure to be on the quieter side. Use soft tones and slow movements. You don’t want to scare the little guys. Once you’ve gotten the moogle’s attention and shown that you are not a thread, beckon for it like I just did, that way he or she will come to you.” She advised, looking towards the ground and the other moogles who were still surrounding her boots and watching her, wanting some of that fluffy love. “Next, gently hold the moogle and stroke it’s fur some, give it some loving gentle pats and just snuggle it close, give it some love and you know you’re doing a good job when they kupo in a loving way.” She grinned, and as if on cue, the moogle in her arms started giving on lovable sounding kupos as she snuggled it close. Looking towards Sabin with hopeful eyes, she then made a small nod towards the moogles at her feet. “It’s simple, but be sure to remember all of what I said. You try!” she chimed, taking a careful step back away from the small cluster of moogles, waiting and observing. Terra would not ever be fully satisfied until Sabin learned how to properly fluff a moogle. Words: 685 Muse: Great! Tagged: Sabin Wearing: Already linked. Sabin felt only slightly like he had just signed away his life when he had told Terra that he would indeed learn the art of moogle fluffing. Counfound it all, he just didn’t want her to go all teary eyed on him if he refused, because just about the last thing he wanted to deal with was that. Give him Ultros any day of the week that ended in y. Yeah…girls just confused him, and especially when they started to cry. When one of the guys had cried in Duncan’s dojo, they had been given a slap upside the head and a ‘buck up!’ Not that he’d seen many men cry in his lifetime, even if they had all felt like it at some point or another in the rigorous training. But look at them all now; the ones that had applied themselves had become masters in the art of martial arts, and even if they weren’t quite as good as he was, they could all still pack a punch. Sabin was just sad that Duncan’s son, a man he had grown to think of as a brother, had snapped like he had.
If only he hadn’t…
But now he was really far off topic. The point was that he had only agreed this to make sure that no tears started to flow, and so…well, here he was, about to get lessons on fluffing moogles. Man was he glad that Duncan and the guys, or Edgar and Locke weren’t here to see this. He figured that they would never allow him to forget about this for the rest of his life. But thankfully, he was with Terra only, so no one but her and the moogles would ever know that this particular event ever happened. He could be extremely thankful that it was like that. So…he was going to actually have to do this, wasn’t he?
With a deep sigh, Sabin propped his hands up on his hips and watched as Terra started to try and instruct him. Honestly, it must look a lot better when she did it versus him trying to do the same thing. While watching, he didn’t get much out of the lesson. His brain had shut down after ‘snuggle it close’. Sabin didn’t really understand that term, and so he shifted the weight between his feet and glanced over his shoulder. If he timed it just right, he might be able to get away from this weird situation an-…his turn already!? “Oh…uh…I thought you were gonna demonstrate it a few more times,” he said hopefully, before the look on her face made him realize that he was actually going to have to do this.
With a sigh that rumbled its way through his chest, Sabin decided that women were just trouble that were brewing at all times. “Oh alright.” Putting on the most gentle voice he could muster, Sabin opened his muscular arms and took a step toward the moogles that were surrounding her feet. “Come here fellas!”, he said as quietly as he thought he could, - though it was still a booming sound- yet they started chattering more and huddled behind her legs more. “Come on! I’m not gonna bite,” he said cheerfully, before dropping to his knees and starting to crawl toward the woman that was standing there.

Moogle Fluffing Lessons 101.
Terra was the best instructor ever. She was the queen of fluffing, and of course if she was teaching Sabin…that meant he was going to be great at it as well! These things did time as any art did, but Terra was so eager to show Sabin what this fluffing thing was all about. It brought a warmness to her heart that he was even willing to listen. Most men would simply scoff and turn away, refusing to have anything to do with moogles that didn’t involve punting them. She was proud enough of him already, but now it was time for the lessons. “I’m so glad you agreed to this!” she chimed before beginning her lessons with her beautifully cute assistant that was instantly in her arms, snuggling against her and feeling the love, definitely. Sabin was getting the best one on one time with the best teacher! If he didn’t get this down…Terra was going to feel like a failure, she couldn’t let him down.
Showing him what to do, Terra then turned her attention to him, placing him into the spotlight as the little creatures by her feet moved around, wanting attention like the moogle in her arms was getting. She smiled brightly at Sabin, watching him and his attempt to recreate the fluffing art that she had just displayed. Watching him, she shook her head slightly, her eyes turned towards the chattering moogles as they snuggled against her boots and legs. And…then Sabin went crawling after the moogles, and that brought a loud laugh from Terra. Well…as loud as someone like her could even get. As she laughed, the moogles chattered a bit more and soon she took a step away from them, bending her knees and kneeling close to the ground as she released the current moogle in her arms. “Watch me again. You’re getting there though!” she encouraged before opening her arms and beckoning for any moogle to come forward.
“Hey little guys, don’t be afraid, we won’t harm you.” She spoke softly, a smile on her face as she took a slow awkward step towards them as she was still low to the ground. That had caught their attention, especially when Terra moved herself by Sabin, to help him out a little bit. “Come here.” She cooed, watching a few moogles start her and Sabin’s way. “Now’s your chance, talk to them quietly, give them a reason to want to come to you.” She encouraged once more before wrapping her arms around two moogles at once, snuggling them closely and just giving them as much love as possible. Ahhhhh she loved these little creatures! She could fluff moogles all day, it was a shame she didn’t have a pet moogle, but then again they deserved to be wild and free. There were plenty of them roaming around for her to be happy, and they were all willing to take a good fluff now and then. Sighing quietly as she then sat back on her bum, holding the moogles, she set them in her lap and began to stroke their fur, finding herself completely in love with the cute little creatures. If there was anything Terra loved more than a few moogles…it was a lot of moogles. This was definitely something that could distract her from any confusing thoughts she might’ve had before…but it wasn’t going to last forever.
Oh well, why ruin the moment? Terra turned her gaze to Sabin, checking to see how he was coming along with this moogle fluffing lesson. Words: 715 Muse: Good! Tagged: Sabin Wearing: Already linked. Listening To: Nothing Notes: I love my quiet time

Well this was embarrassing.
While Sabin crawled toward Terra, she was laughing about it and the moogles were just chattering there like he’d lost his mind. Well confound it all, he had lost his mind when he had agreed to this! Well…yeah, basically, he’d lost his mind. “Oh hush up,” he mentioned good naturedly while she continued to laugh like…well, loud anyway. Not that he could blame her. It wasn’t every day you saw a full grown man on his hands and knees to get a moogle to snuggle. Ugh, Edgar, if he ever found this out, was going to never drop it. Why had he agreed to this again? Oh right…the thought of there possibly being tears. Oh man…ooooh man, he didn’t want any sign of tears. But still, he had degraded himself to crawling after some blasted moogles. Yeah…probably not a high point in his life. Thankfully there was no real proof of this day.
Still, he couldn’t help but smile up at Terra while she seemed to find it so amusing. And it was amusing, even he could admit to that. If he was any less in tune with his manhood, then this might have been really degrading, but whatever. You lived through some points in your life. This was, apparently, just another one of those moments that he was going to have to live through. Or…something. Yeah, mostly something. But anyway, he found himself laughing along in response to her own glee, all the while probably scaring the moogles more, as they continued to chatter about it. Well sheesh, he should be chattering about it too! The length you went to in order to make girls happy… He had never quite figured out why men went through such great lengths, but he supposed it had to do with their happiness making the men happy. Yeah…probably had something to do with that. Even if he tried to be crabby about this situation right here, he probably couldn’t accomplish it. There was just something about laughter that made you want to join along.
Watch her? Okay okay. Pausing on all fours, Sabin remained where he was while he watched her do her thing. Admittedly, he didn’t ‘think that he could ever quite make it look so effortless. She had this natural way about her that was warm and fuzzy and drew little tykes like this in…or everyone in to her aura of sweetness. The problem was that Sabin wasn’t…well, he wasn’t exactly a pretty young, sweet girl that loved to fluff things. He was just about the polar opposite of that, but…you know, he didn’t want to be a cute, sweet young girl either. That might be awkward to the rest of the people that he had grown up with…you know, explaining why he was a girl instead of a guy. Yeah…that would be awkward.
With her snuggling one, his attention was returned to the moogles. They seemed to eye each other up for a few seconds, as if judging them. Sabin wasn’t sure what he should do, and he also wasn’t sure about this whole being quiet thing. Raising an eyebrow, he lifted out his arms toward them. They were still hesitant of Sabin, and so he scooted forward, a hand on the ground as he did so to make this weird sort of crawl. “Hey little guys!”, he said, attempting to be as quiet as possible. He didn’t really accomplish it, but he was at least better. “Well come on!”, he urged again. Most of them scattered away, but one stayed, as if the courageous one. “You the big boss one?”, he said with a laugh, reaching out a hand. Almost without the moogle knowing, Sabin put his hand around him and pulled the moogle toward him. “What’s your name little guy?”
