It had taken Raijin and Fujin a considerable amount of time to locate Seifer but they finally had. The two had never lost their faith in their friend and knew that he was still alive where no one else did. Fujin scoffed to herself at the memory of everything people said about his "execution". It had all been a lie. Although, honestly, neither of them had expected to meet Seifer the way they had. He seemed, for the most part, as if he were still the Seifer they knew but with a bit of a twist.
Upon meeting up with him again, Seifer introduced them to who had kept him alive. As she first set her eye upon her, Fujin couldn't help but feel surprised. "DISTURBING!" was the only word that could describe how she felt about meeting Sorceress Edea. At that time, neither of them had known that Edea had been possessed by another sorceress. Either way, in Fujin's reckoning, sorceresses were nothing but trouble so far.
Fujin was forced to stand back and watch as Seifer was slowly twisted and turned into a shadow of his former self. It was painful to have to stand by and watch. "RAGE!" Unfortunately, there was nothing that Fujin could have done. She wasn't anything like Seifer when it came to combat and the thought of being conflicted with one of her best friends was something she couldn't bare to do. They were a posse, after all. Where one went, the others followed and they always supported each other. The only hope that she and Raijin ever had was for Squall's group to interfere. Hopefully, their arrival would allow them to talk some sense into Seifer and get him to stop. Unfortunately, despite Fujin's and Raijin's attempts, Seifer saw it as being far too late for himself. With that, they had all split apart. It had been a depressing moment in their lives and a very emotional one.
Today, thankfully, things had turned for the better. Whatever Squall's group had done, it had allowed Seifer to return to them as his former self. It put a smile even on Fujin's mostly stoic face to see their leader again. When he had brought up the idea of taking over Galbadia Garden as his own to help train others to fight against the fal' Cie, Fujin's only response to that was "POSSE." What she meant by this was that no matter what Seifer wanted to do, she and Raijin would always be there for him.
Now, here she was, in the middle of a training session in Galbadia Garden. It hadn't taken long for Seifer to work his magic on the worried people of Galbadia to follow him. With the threat of strange people and fal' Cie, people looked to anyone that seemed like a strong figure with a level head to help guide them and Seifer was just the person. Of course, his ways were probably too strict but Fujin found no complaint with it. It was just like those times back in Balamb Garden for her from when they were members of the Disciplinary Committee.
Red eye gazing down upon a fatigued looking student, Fujin furrowed her brows. How did they expect to manage out in the battlefield against fal' Cie if they couldn't even handle a single, simple monster? "PATHETIC!" she shouted. Those who had heard her looked over at her in surprise before looking amongst themselves and then back at the monsters they were to fight. Here, Fujin wasn't going to do anything for them. They would have to survive on their own. She had only trained them with what they needed before going into to start officially training in combat. Their methods were very strict here and dangerous but surprisingly, not that many deaths occurred here in the Garden. Sure, many injuries but not that many deaths. Even still, it scared students into obeying them.
Struggling onward, the students she was supervising did their best to keep going. It was always harsh. As she stood there in the training area, Fujin didn't even blink as a flying creature set its sights upon her. Flying low the creature came to a stop several feet in front of her, hovering as it tried to decide its next course of action. Not even raising an eyebrow, Fujin took out her Missile Blade. Getting into her battle ready stance, she spoke only one word. "CAKEWALK!"
The thing dive bombed her in which Fujin swiftly disposed of it using Zan. Her blade ran down the creature's side, leaving a massive gash in its side. Turning to see how the students were doing, Fujin had to raise an eyebrow this time. Right before her eyes, two students had mysteriously vanished through a vortex. Somehow, a portal had opened up in the middle of the training room and two students had the misfortune of being there at the time. No doubt, they'd have to report back to Seifer on the situation. He'd probably not care but it was worth reporting seeing as those damned creatures came from those things. He would not appreciate the things getting into his Garden.
"ABORT. REPORT, SEIFER!" Fujin ordered those around her. Through the time they had spent with her, the students were somehow able to understand her to an extent. No doubt, she was telling them to stop what they were doing and head back to report to Seifer about the portal. Watching those that had made it alive flee from the scene, Fujin took one last look at where the two students had disappeared on the spot. The vortex swirled on the spot but didn't appear to be coughing anyone back up anytime soon.
Eye narrowing a little at it, Fujin slowly turned away and headed back into the Garden. These portals were getting to be a real nuisance with bringing over strange people and odd creatures from all over who knows where. There was no telling what dangers would lie ahead for them all.
