i969.photobucket.com/albums/ae175/DaNnyRiOtDanger/123/YUNA-1.jpg?t=1346815555[/img] It was a cold morning and Yunie was walking through the forest walking her way back to Spira. She liked to visit the towns nearby and talk to other people, she was always doing that when she had free time at her hands. She was making sure everything was fine and peacefull for her people and wanted to help if someone was in trouble. But since everything seemed fine she headed back to Spira.
She stopped walking for a bit and looked up the sky. The sun had in fact been setting, but there was something strange about the color of the clouds in the sky. The clouds blanketed the sky with a grayish green hue. The wind started picking up with a vengeance before dying down a moment later, making the air start to feel stagnant. The entire mass of clouds seemed to be moving, but that wasn't what caught her attention. It was the scattered spots where the clouds were slowly revolving around themselves in the opposite direction of the storm while slowly pulling in the surrounding clouds. Seeing this, she knew she had to run. Run fast and find the town or something to hide in. She pulled her gaze from the sky and bolted in the direction she thought she had been heading in earlier. It looked like the weather was not on her side. She continued running through the trees, in a panicked hurry. She didn't look back over her shoulder out of fear and the feeling of dread that had washed over her. She didn't know if she'd find a place to wait out this storm but she kept running. Time was growing short and things were not looking too good.
Standing slowly she would feel the winds pick up and the intensity of the rain pick up. Knowing that she would be soaked no matter the case she would begin walking slowly back through the rain back down the path she had taken. As she did she felt someone coming and she would glance around. Noticing that the sky had changed a curious greenish grey color she would get a dreading feeling in the pit of her stomach. For some reason she knew that this was bad yet she did not know why it was bad. She found a little cave and stood under it waiting for the rain to stop. She heard someone coming at her. She couldn't tell who was there since the rain went stonger. She couldn't see a thing, so she sat down a little feared and she was shaking because she was freezing. Spira, a world full of dreams and magical stories. This is one of the most beautiful worlds ever created. Even though, it is quite advanced in technology, still it relies too much in old tales and customs... much like Vana'Diel. The sun was settling in a spectacular scattering of reddish to purplish colors. The trees were evergreen, with plenty of flowers surrounding the fields as the wind caressed each petal with lovely care. The setting was wonderful, like a fairy tale, however... time could only tell of how much these precious landscapes may endure. Hero descended from the planar rift in this lovely scenery. After saving the town of Moblitz from the esper attack, he felt grateful to land on such a peaceful place. To his side, the glowing terrestrial avatar Carbuncle landed on his smooth paws and stared at Hero with a brief smile on his face. Hero turned to see the sun on his back with hopes that there is still time to prevent the Fal'Cie from corrupting this place. The courageous adventurer took a few steps forward to notice a gorgeous woman, dressed in robes, walking trough this place in solitude, yet confident and safe. Hero the looks to the sky and saw the clouds merge and darkened forming a colorful green hue that ended in a chilling but relaxing rain. From the hill both he and Carbuncle stood, they saw the woman seek refugee in one of the nearby caves. Carbuncle, with a nod, agreed to follow her to this place and seek refugee as well. Followind the puddles that formed from the intense rainy environment, Hero was able to look eye to eye at this beautiful maiden. Curiously, she bore different eye color, as if two different souls lived within her body. Her face expression could only show kindness, comfort, even charm. Hero replied with a smile and bowed to the woman before speaking to her. "May we join you? The rain is heavily intense and we seek to cover ourselves from it" Hero asked as Carbuncle quickly jumped into the natural place and cuddled on the woman's skirt embarrassing the young hero. Noting that the rain was getting colder and stronger, Hero then proceeded to enter and join the robed woman in this cave. Very shy with women, as he always has been, he proceeded to timidly introduces himself. "My name is Hero, and he is my partner Carbuncle he said in a shaky voice. Trying not to startle the lady, he also wanted to speak to her about his intentions in Spira. This way, he will avoid any misunderstanding. "We are in a quest to stop a common enemy known as the Fal'Cie from conquering the different worlds. Hopefully, we will succeed in saving everyone from such tyranny and bring peace." He added with hope and courage. Then Hero turned to look into the woman's eyes and smile once again. Indeed she was beautiful and comforting. Even though this place was unknown he felt safe, pretty much like when he traveled with Lilissette. With a nod from himself, Hero proceeded to look at the pouring rain and the lovely colors of the sky as they merged together to form a wonderful view. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Count: 554 Next: Whoever is next Note: Hope this is fine That music was inspiring! Oh great.
It was going to rain. Peering up and over her shoulder, the young blonde revved the engine of the machine she was on and glanced at her little electronic tracking device. She had a ways to go to get back to the Farplane. Too far. She wouldn’t make it before the storm hit. But that was alright, she could still drive in the rain, so it wasn’t that big of a deal anyway. Just a little uncomfortable, so she put it out of her thoughts and instead concentrated on what she was going to ask Gippal about. In her travels to Luca to see about making the machine that could meld the machine together to hold shut the farplane, Rikku had come across some giant… Well to be quite honest, she wasn’t exactly sure what it was. It had been large and lumbering, and though it seemed mechanical, it also seemed alive. That was a strange thing, but she had stalked it for a bit to really see what it might be, before hopping on her machine and starting back for the Farplane. That was by far the first priority right now, but she really did want to ask Gippal about it.
And then her engine started to sputter. Glancing down as the gauges went whacky, Rikku rolled her head back and groaned. This was exactly what she needed! As the engine sputtered the rain started coming down in sheets. At that moment Rikku chose to spit out some colorful words, all muttered in Al Bhed. That automatically made it better, right? Right! Still, she had to get under some cover before this storm actually blew her away. As she made her way through the trail and listened to her engine sputter a few more times, Rikku groaned and wished that she had taken the airship instead of the ground machine.
But wait! Skidding to a stop, Rikku placed her foot on the ground, shielded her eyes from the storm, and peered around her. She knew exactly where she was! And…there was a smallish cave right down the pathway, not so far from where she was. If she could get there, Rikku had no doubts that she could fix her engine, which was sounding like it was going to die at any moment. So she revved the engine and turned sharply to the left, narrowing her eyes against the bite of the wind and rain. By the time she drew close, Rikku could barely see two feet in front of her vehicle. But somehow she spotted the cave entrance. “Oooh yeah!”, she cried out, maneuvering her way over toward the mouth of the cave.
She got a few feet inside without noticing the three other figures standing there. Skidding to a stop, Rikku wiped the moisture from her eyes, and when she opened them, the figures loomed there, and she gave a startled squeal. Then started to laugh. “Yunie?!” Standing up, Rikku swept the excess moisture from her legs and arms and started to get off her machine when the engine finally sputtered and cut out. “Oh blast it all,” she muttered, kicking the side lightly, before she realized she should be thankful that it had lived long enough to get her to the caves. Hopping off, Rikku shook her head, beads and braids flying every which way, before she grinned back at her cousin. “What are you doing here Yunie?” As she curiously asked the question, the blonde girl started rummaging in the bag which was on the back of her machine. Doing so for a few seconds, she finally came up with the tools she needed and went to the hood. Popping it open, she tossed her long hair over her shoulder and bent over the machine, starting to look for the problem. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words:; 795 Muse:; Great! Tagged:; The people! “Shoot! Cold cold cold cold cold!” Tifa muttered to herself with chattered teeth, her arms crossing her chest and gripping each opposite arm. She was…cold to say the least. She hadn’t expected to be out in icy rain, or to be on a new world in general. How she got here though...it was a silly story really. She’d come across a machine, much like the fal’cie that had branded her once upon a time – she figured there were more than one – so her curiosity got the best of her, she’d explored the machine and before she knew it, after pressing one button a portal had appeared and swallowed her up! Perhaps…she’d been wrong about the machine being a fal’cie, it was probably some portal creating prototype that either ShinRa or even the dreaded PSICOM had left laying around…in an alleyway…behind a warehouse. No, Tifa had not been snooping, what would give you that idea?
Still moving quickly through this forested area – lost in the middle of nowhere was what it felt like – the brunette let her dark red eyes search for some sort of cover. Her eyes caught sight of something, a cave…but there were already occupants within it. One with messy blonde hair…she looked awfully familiar. It brought a small ‘hmm’ buzzing sound to the bartender’s lips. She didn’t even notice her abrupt stop before the icy rain continued to chill her skin, causing goosebumps to appear, which then drove her closer towards the caves, recognizing the girl as that Rikku woman, the one who’d been around Gaia for some time…huh, what were the odds of seeing her here? Hopefully these people didn’t mind one more joining their numbers. Trotting into the caves, soaking wet, Tifa wanted to unlatch her arms from being crossed, but she was just too cold to find herself able to. With a shy smile, she looked towards Rikku. “Nice to see you again, Rikku.” She commented, her eyes turning to the rest of the people, all two of them.
The brunette…the robed one. She seemed far too familiar, and Tifa would’ve remembered her, she could distinctly see one green eye and one blue eye, that was something she would have noted. Finally finding herself able to move around instead of feeling like a frozen stone, Tifa moved one hand to move the bangs from her face, and she gently tugged her hair from behind her back, squeezing the water away from her dolphin tail ponytail. Pulling the bang from her hair, she shook her head around a bit, brown hair still soaking no matter what efforts she put forward, but at least she was a bit more comfortable and out of the rain. “I’m sorry, I’ve been rude.” Tifa said as she continued to claw at her hair, combing the wet tangles and water out. “My name is Tifa, Tifa Lockhart…and I’m sorry for intruding on your cover.” She shrugged before tying her hair again, feeling a little better as she placed her loosely closed fists on her hips, looking back out towards the rain that was still coming down like crazy.
Jabbing a thumb over her shoulder towards the rain, a sheepish smile still on her face, she monk decided to keep up some sort of conversation. “Does it always rain like this?” questions about the weather…how smooth. But hey! If no one else was going to talk, why not fill the awkward silence…with…more awkward. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words: 682 Muse: Good! Tagged: Squall is next! It had been a surprise to Squall - a good one - that he'd been able to get out of Gran Pulse without much trouble. It had been a bad surprise that he'd come across another world on the other side, when he fully expected a one-way street between his world and Pulse. No...this planet was Spira, and like Gran Pulse, it seemed a temperate place filled with mostly water. Part of that water was currently pouring onto Squall's head even as he walked - a freezing, relentless rain that had his hair slicked to his forehead almost as soon as it had started. By necessity, he'd picked up his pace - he'd been making his way through a wood that he hoped would lead to a more civilized area - and evaded trees and plants alike as he moved through. Ugh, this was miserable. It was bad enough he hadn't been able to find much of a lead on fal'Cie so far that he could carry back to the Garden, making sure they were secured from the threat. Now he was stuck here in the trees with nothing but the rain to occupy him. Squall sighed to himself in disgust.
Some luck seemed to hit him, though, when he spotted what looked to be an indention up ahead. Cave, probably. Squall cast a glance over his shoulder to check for company before he started making his way towards it. It wasn't as if he could hear anything...or see all that much, so as he approached the cave, his hand gravitated towards the gunblade hanging at his belt. He fully expected to find nothing, but...as he had been with the portal jump, he was unfortunately wrong.
The cave had apparently been everyone's choice of refuge. Squall held up his gait uneasily at the sight of a group of...four, gathered in the cave, apparently holding conversation. A brunette that was closest to him was saying something about the rain. No kidding...she was as drenched as he was. There was another brunette, more fragile-looking, also in the cave. A guy not much older than Squall, with short hair, was perched somewhat close to the second brunette. To top off the group, there was a short blond with wild hair crouched over some kind of a vehicle and a creature Squall didn't recognize. Some motley crew he'd come across. Why did some of them seem familiar, though...
Never one to stare, Squall made eye contact with any who were looking at him, giving subtle nods, and leaned himself against the rocks with his elbow with the plan not to say much else. He turned and glanced behind him out at the rain for a few seconds, disinterestedly listening to any conversation going on with the others. Stuck in the rain on a strange planet with a bunch of strangers and no more information than when he'd arrived. It was a good thing Squall was accustomed to being uncomfortable...
His eyes eventually, though, returned to the blond hunched over the vehicle. As long as he was here, he knew he might as well do something with his time and not seem like a problem or a burden. Glancing all the others once more, Squall spoke up for the first time, his voice directed towards the blond...whom he now noticed seemed under-dressed for all occasions not involving a beach. Why did all the women in these separate worlds want to show off so much skin? "Do you need any help with that?" It was foreign technology, apparently, but a vehicle was a vehicle...and Squall had to say something, he guessed. The rain hadn't let up yet...

It would seem that next time he needed to travel to another world fast, he’d need to contact Cosmos about it and ask her to send him through one of her own portals, because at least they were reliable and actually took you to where you wanted to go, unlike the fal’cie portals that just took you in and then crudely kicked you back out whenever they felt like it. He still remembered his previous attempt to find his wife, and how it had taken him forever just to get to a new place because the portals had kept sending him in a loop, back and forth between maybe two or three worlds. It had been really annoying and time consuming, but thankfully he didn’t have to deal with that right now. Had Cosmos told him to use the fal’cie’s portals to get to Spira, the whole world would’ve probably been completely and utterly destroyed by the time he made it here, the goddess herself must’ve realized that as well.
With a slight frown, Cecil looked up towards the sky when it started to rain. Great. Why did it always rain when you had places to go? Oh well, a little water wouldn’t kill him. With his usual confident strides, the paladin wandered through the woods he’d ended up in, his eyes were constantly looking around for any sign of the former summoner he’d been sent here to assist with her problems. Apparently she was out here somewhere too, otherwise Cosmos would’ve just opened a portal near her house or something, or so he assumed. After a little while of walking and searching and getting drenching wet by the rain, the man finally spotted something – or someone, rather – familiar walking up ahead. Was that Squall? What was he doing here? This wasn’t his world, was it? No… his world was called… uh… Gaia? No, that wasn’t it. Hm. He couldn’t quite remember, had Squall ever even told him the name of his home? He wasn’t exactly a talkative guy, so he probably hadn’t. It didn’t matter what it was called anyway, because Spira was the world in danger right now, not wherever Squall was from.
It seemed the younger man had been walking in the rain a little bit too long as well, and was currently looking for a place to take shelter from the rain. Although Cecil was supposed to look for Yuna, he figured he wouldn’t find her in this weather anyway, because she was likely looking for a shelter as well. Maybe once the weather cleared up, he could continue his search. With a hurried pace, Cecil followed Squall into the cave, and upon entering, he came to the startling conclusion that pretty much everyone in the area had chosen this particular cave to wait out the weather. The older man blinked his eyes in mild shock when he came face to face with not one, not two, but a whopping five sets of eyes. But then he noticed someone… in the back of the cave! Fortune was smiling down on him today, “Good day,” he greeted everyone in the cave and then stepped over to the wall opposite to Squall where he casually leaned back against it. Alright then! He’d found Yuna, and it seemed some of the other warriors of light were present as well! That was a good sign, but for now, he’d have to reel his excitement in, after all, most of them probably didn’t even remember who he was at all. Not too long ago, Cecil himself hadn’t remembered Cosmos and Chaos and the cycles and all that either, it was only because Cosmos had summoned him back to Order’s Sanctuary and explained to him what was going on that he even remembered any of it himself. “A nice day for a stroll, no?” he chuckled as he squeezed some of the water out of his hair. ---------------------------------- Words: 655 Tagged: The people! Yuffie frowned, and held her arms tightly. Why didn't she think that it would rain? Or be cold, for that matter. It was stupid not to think about it. She looked from left to right, trying to find somewhere to hide from the weather. She was soaked to the bone, and was shaking a little. Yuffie let out a shaky breath before kicking the ground. "Stupid rain..." She muttered, under her breath. Ninja's weren't there best in the rain, she knew that much. Her eyes narrowed. She really had to stop running through portals unprepared. Sure, last time Yuffie ran out one, she ended up getting attacked by Gorgonopsids. That wasn't good. She gripped her arms tighter, and shivered.
Yuffie huffed, before looking up. Hearing a little bit of thunder, she squeaked. "I am not sitting in a storm." Whipping her head around, she looked for somewhere to take cover. However, she could barely see to begin with. Squinting her eyes, she looked around. Yuffie scowled. This was why she hated rain. And that is why she loved Wutai in the summer. It was warm, hot even! Barely any rain. She put her hand over her eyes, and her face light up. Cave, sweet cave! Yuffie quickly sprinted her way over to the cave, and almost sighed in content when she found herself out the rain. Sure, she wasn't dry, and she still had a chance of catching a cold, but at least she was out of the worst of it.
Yuffie shook her head vigarously, sending droplets of water everywhere and making her hair stick up a little. She used her hand to rub it, trying to make it dry. She didn't even notice the other occupants for a while, until she spotted Tifa, and a bunch of strangers. She wasn't surprised to see that they were strangers to her. She hadn't been to this world before. But, how did Tifa know them? "Tifa!" She grinned, and bounded her way over to her friend. Yuffie knew she probably looked like a state with her wet clothes and sticky-up hair. But, she didn't care at the moment. She was just glad she knew somebody who was in the same situation as her.
Sticking her hands on her hips, Yuffie grinned. "What are you doing here, Teef?" She then put on a sly smile. "Who's looking after the bar, Boobs?" Eh, she knew Tifa wouldn't appreciate that nickname, but she didn't really care. Running her fingers through her hair one last time, she looked out the cave's mouth, and slumped. "Stupid rain. Stupid portal for making me go to this stupid world where it is stupidly raining." She grumbled to herself, before crossing her arms, trying to stop herself shivering. But alas, she was freezing. As Yunie was sitting under the small cave she saw a boy coming with a little creature with him. "Yes, you may-..aaww" she said looking at how cute Carbuncle was and smiled. Hero was polite and he seemed really kind as he introduced. "Hello! I'm Yuna nice to meet you. Fal'Cie? I think I've heard something about them." she said as she was petting Carbuncle. What? Is that..? A familiar blonde messy head appeared. Of course, Rikku was coming near to them. "Oh, hi Rikku. I was returning back to Spira but then the weather had a different opinion. Are you alright?" the brunette asked. Rikku was soaked she sure was freezing. She was busy trying to fix her machine. Yuna would like to help but she had no idea of how that works, so she was sitting there watching her. The weather hadn't change a bit. Okay someone else is coming. Well, now it starts to get crowed, she thought. It was a brunette… woman, named Tifa. Yuna glanced at her she was really pretty. An other man came in and he didn't introduced -he seemed interested to help Rikku. That was really nice of him. Um ok now it's crowded, she though making fun of the situation on her mind. It was a guy, he seemed familiar but she couldn't tell if she knew or saw him before. "What is wrong with that rain anyway, I will freeze!" she said like a little child complaining. And that was awkward when a cute girl appeared. She knew Tifa and she was joking around. Yuna though that seems there are too many of those portals. It was strange that everyone met on that not so popular forest. "Oh-hi I'm Yuna" she introduced herself again. The rain finally stopped and a beautiful rainbow appeared in the sky. "Finally!"she said and stood up excited. She could now go back to Spira, but she thought that she could keep company to her cousin for a bit. "How is it going with the machine? Can I help you with anything?" she asked touching Rikkus shoulder trying to understand what was happening. Tagged: Hero Song: www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lVdSJl4yKsNotes: --

A non stoppable rainstorm, freezing like the winds traveling south from the Beaucedine Glacier. Hero's skin shivered with the sound of each droplet that fell from the darknened sky, Carbuncle as well, sought comfort in the exothermic body of those around him. The lady, whom introduced herself as Yuna, caressed Carbuncle carefully as she proved to be naive about the Fal'Cie topic Hero introduced. Hero, then understood this world has not been threatened yet by such monstrous beings, yet, this world was not safe. Hero leaned the travertine walls that built this cave to relax until the rainstorm ended. Suddenly, a cocky looking blondie appeared in a very technological device and joined the duo inside the cavernous place. She seemed to be an acquaintance of Yuna since she just paid attention to the dual colored woman and had no intention of addressing Hero at all. She looked more almost exactly like Lion, the clothing, the gesture and the features of her face. Lion was a long time friend of his, but sadly sacrificed herself in order to keep Vana'Diel at peace... However, Hero had is jaw wide open since it could be possible that this person could be an amnesic Lion that was thrown into another world just like him. Before he could say anything who didn't even introduced herself, a loving and voluptuous woman sought refugee inside the cave too. Her sporty clothing did not fit this world neither Hero's, but this one at least had the courtesy to smile at Hero while taking care of her dark brown dolphin like hair. She even apologized to them for intruding the cave, Hero nodded in reply welcoming her as he pulled Carbuncle nearer to him. The suddenly a lot of people crowded the cave, Hero felt tightly pushed into the dark place. Then suddenly when the ninja looking girl arrived after a swordsman and a paladin, the rain ceded and the seven colors of the rainbow emerged from the sunlight scattering. It was like if fate forced their encounter, like if it was their destiny to meet each other. This meant that somehow, this world was to be put in danger and they were the ones to stand up front. Hero took a few steps into the beautiful scenery formed after the rainstorm. Everyone here seemed to know each other aside from the Paladin looking standing there. Hero reached his position since he looked more welcoming than the others and also resembled more his world. "Excuse me, my name is Hero. I am fairly lost and ended up caught in this cave. May I have some guidance for the nearest town?" Hero added trying to get himself some information about this world and the upcoming thread. In the meantime, Carbuncle kept himself nearby the girls looking for their attention. Hero frowned to his companion and sighed in reply. The day was a beautiful one, their meeting was faithful, however, their encounter was not a mere coincidence and who knows what is about to happen to Spira. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Post; 530 Next; Rikku

Brushing her hair over her shoulder, Rikku nodded at Yuna’s question on if she was alright or not. “Oh yeah, I’m perfectly fine! I was back on the way to the farplane when it started to rain so badly and my engine started conking, and since I remembered about this cave, I thought I’d come in here and wait it out. Low and behold, you guys did the same thing!”, she cheerfully exclaimed, before digging around in her tool bag. This was exactly why she kept tools on her person at all times. Machina were great, but they could also have the tendency of breaking down a lot if they didn’t get the proper care. And so here she was, giving it the proper care! Like a boss!
Just after she’d ducked her head underneath, a familiar voice spoke her name. Peeking around the side of the popped up hood, she caught sight of the brunette that had so kindly offered her a room. “Yo Tifa! What are you doing here?!”, she burst out, before glancing over at the two others in the room. Yunie was right, it was getting crowded in here. Rikku motioned to the seat on the machina for Tifa to sit on while she talked to her, and then dug into her bag again. She really did need to fix this, and hopefully she had all the right things she needed to do so. Hmmm, there was a wrench, and-, right, looked like she had everything she might need for the situation. “How’s that big oaf of yours?”, she asked cheerfully, before sticking her head under the hood again and answering the question about the rain from underneath. “Rain like this? Not by Home it doesn’t, but I guess around here it’s more likely to.”, she muttered out.
From her position underneath the hood, Rikku didn’t hear the two men enter, until the one asked her if she needed help. Or at least, she assumed he was talking to her, because no one else really needed help. Jerking her head up to look at whoever the heck had showed up now, she bumped her head on the hood of the machina. “Oooooow! Kucr tynh ed!”, she muttered out, rubbing at her head with her wrist while she peered at the man who was offering to help. She didn’t know if he knew anything, but…some help was better than none. “You wanna help?! Sure! I’ll letcha!”, she said with a grin. Reaching to grab at his arm, she pulled him over and she inserted the clamp into his hand, then guided his hand down to clamp at what he needed to. “You keep that steady, would you? And here, shine this light so I can see,” she added, sticking the special flashlight into his hand, switching it on and guiding that hand to where she need to see. “Thanks a bunch!” Before she stuck her head back under the hood, she noticed the second man that had come in while she hadn’t been paying attention. “Nice day for a stroll? I think you’re a little crazy,” she mentioned, before sticking her head back under the hood and leaning forward until her elbows were pressed against different parts and she could reach for the place she had instructed him to clamp so she could get underneath. Heck yes! She could get this!
And another voice?! How many people were going to fit in this here cave anyway? Rikku didn’t look up to see the last one that came, but from how she talked to Tifa, she knew her. ‘Boobs’? Well that was…nice. It was true, but who just out and out said it? Rolling her eyes, Rikku grabbed at her socket wrench and then added the piece on the end that would give it the added length she would need to reach the bolts she needed. “Alright, scoot that light up a little bit so I can see right in there,” she said quickly, pointing her finger to the place his clamps were holding wires back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words:; 860 Muse:; Great!
