Fujin
"RAGE!"
Custom Title: Soldier Girl
Age: Was 17 and now somewhere in her late teens.
Gender: Female
Family: Deceased
Race: Human
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Home World: FFVIII World
Alignment: Whatever side Seifer’s on.
Job: Anything given to her from Seifer.
Accessories:
Eye patch: Fujin’s always wearing an eye patch over her left eye.
Arm band: Fujin and Raijin share a similar band that they wear on their shoulders. Fujin’s is on the left deltoid of her left arm.
Appearance:
Fujin isn’t all that tall. She stands at five feet and three inches. Despite that, she’s not a person to be reckoned with. Her size means nothing compared to how strong she really is. Weight wise, she’s around 119 pounds give or take.
She has a piercing crimson red right eye. Her left eye, is concealed under a black eye patch. She has short, layered and jagged steel gray hair. She doesn’t seem to keep it in a neat fashion but at least manages to keep it out of her eye. She appears to have a bit of an insecurity when it comes to her left eye in that she also slicks her hair over the eye patch though never fully concealing it. Only by appearance though does this insecurity seem feasible since Fujin doesn’t even act like much bothers her normally.
For clothing, she wears a blue, longsleeve jacket with yellow trimming on the bottom of it. Over her left arm, she wears a silver arm band with kanji letters written upon it. She and Raijin seem to have mirror arm bands. Under the jacket, she wears a longsleeve white dress shirt. For bottom attire, she wears navy blue pants that tuck into her leather, black boots that reach almost to the knees. These pants are slightly baggy.
Personality:
Fujin does not see it necessary to speak more than necessary. It’s because of this way of thinking that she has developed that speech quirk she uses all the time. Often times, it’s usually a single word but can end up as two or three words depending on the situation. It’s not that she can’t talk normally, in fact she can quite clearly if she wanted to but Fujin sees it as unnecessary when few words can get so many things across to someone as well as actions. Her main reason for developing her speech pattern is to be more precise with what she’s saying to someone and for the speed of it. The faster something is said when necessary, the better and less time is wasted in the long run.
When amongst the others of the posse, Fujin’s often the quieter one that observes. She only speaks when necessary and can startle someone that’s not used to her way of speaking. Due to the fact she’s the one observing, Fujin can take notice of things the others might not. It’s up for debate as to how keen of mind she can be but it’s clear that she’s no idiot. She has to be keen of mind to an extent to be able to speak in the quirky fashion that she does. Out of the two, Fujin’s more sensible and reliable than Raijin. Often times, she’s the one to correct Raijin when he’s going off about something foolish with a sharp kick to his shins.
Fujin doesn’t take nonsense from others, as is seen with the way she treats Raijin time and again. She has very little patience for someone that’s overly hyper or says rather foolish things or blurts something that they shouldn’t. Where she can get annoyed, it’s nothing to how her anger can get. Fujin’s wrath is not something to contend with and Raijin knows this from experiencing it the hard way. Whenever Fujin gets angry, she has a tendency to lash out at those around her responsible for her rage. She can be quite fierce when in this state of mind but it clouds her judgment.
Returning to the sensible aspect of Fujin’s character, she is the one that has no fear of telling a friend how she perceives what they have become. Even though she may be inspired to follow Seifer, Fujin will only follow him if it’s Seifer’s own doing and not someone else’s. The only time that Fujin ever stopped following Seifer was when the situation with the sorceress had finally gotten to be too much.
When it comes to getting tasks done, Fujin is often one to get them done. Due to her usefulness, Fujin’s often placed in a higher standing than Raijin. Usually, that position she’s put in is in one that’s a step above Raijin to ensure he tows the line seeing as Raijin enjoys slacking off. Having no tolerance for someone slacking off, Fujin is the one that’s usually pulling the reigns and cracking the whip when necessary when it’s down to just herself and Raijin and others that are below them. Fujin can be arrogant.
Fujin treats her friends with a deep respect. Even if Raijin is the one that often is the type to get on their nerves, Fujin does respect him. Together, the three of them make a posse and nothing can break that friendship. No matter what, Fujin would loyally follow her friends anywhere and it‘s difficult to think of a life without them. She and Raijin view Seifer as their leader.
Seems to have an insecurity when it comes to her left eye only by the way she has her hair somewhat slicked over the black eye patch. None have ever asked her about how she lost her eye though and she never speaks of it. It could be thought that she just might have a slight insecurity when it comes to that so if someone were to bring it up, it may debatable whether she’d get flustered by it.
History:
Fujin has never really revealed what her past consists of but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t a past. She was born in Balamb during the war against the Sorceress Adel. During that time, her parents were killed like so many others. Orphaned, Fujin was brought to Balamb Garden to be trained to become a SEED.
During her times in Garden, she had an unfortunate accident resulting in the loss of sight in her left eye when training with another student. It took a while for her to get over the fact she had lost an eye. Wearing an eye patch made her appear more intimidating than she really was and not many tried to interact with her. For a while, she was solitary.
It wasn’t until some time later when she encountered Raijin and Seifer. Ever since bumping into each other, something just seemed to click amongst the three of them and after that they were inseparable. Eventually, the trio formed the Garden Disciplinary Committee with Seifer as their leader. Together, the posse used their power to bully the other students in Garden by giving them detentions and punishment. One of their favorite targets was Zell.
When Seifer, after breaking out of the disciplinary room, goes rogue Raijin and Fujin go in search for him. The two knew that Quistis had been sent out to do that but being Seifer’s friends, Fujin and Raijin still felt the need to locate him themselves. On their way, Headmaster Cid had given them information to pass along to Squall’s group. Both complete the mission effectively but by the time they meet up with Squall’s group, it was believed that Seifer had already gone through a trial and was executed. Of course, Fujin was the first to not believe this as did Raijin. In their eyes, Seifer wouldn’t stand for a trial of that nature and knew in their hearts that he was still alive. None of them knew that he had become the Sorceress’s knight.
A time afterward, Fujin and Raijin are still in Balamb Garden unsure of where Seifer is. During that time, Squall’s group returns to report missiles threatening to fire upon the Garden. Fujin and Raijin assist the group in evacuating students from the facility. After that, they somehow manage to find Seifer. Under him, they help assist by becoming generals of Galbadia’s army.
They help Seifer by searching for the whereabouts of Ellone in Balamb. Locking the place down, as they searched, the two came across Squall’s gang during one of Fujin’s fits of rage. The fact no one had been making any progress in finding Ellone had angered her. Of course, during the encounter Squall’s group did give them the chance to not have to fight them but Fujin insisted, demanding where Ellone was as if the group knew. Upon their defeat, Squall’s group allows them to leave peacefully.
The two weren’t seen again until the battle of the Gardens took place. Fujin and Raijin refused to fight Squall’s group, however. The two were far too fatigued at the time to want to anyway claiming that there was no turning back at this point and that they would follow Seifer no matter what. Once Sorceress Edea is defeated, Raijin and Fujin assist Seifer in restoring the Lunatic Pandora. It isn’t until this point that Fujin and Raijin finally have reached the end of their tethers. The friend they once knew in Seifer was no more but a mere shadow of his former self and it hurt them to see him like that. It wasn’t until the arrival of Squall’s group that Fujin and Raijin fought them one last time still searching for Ellone’s whereabouts.
Upon their second defeat, Fujin and Raijin allow the group to confront Seifer. At this point, the two had enough of following Seifer when things were getting to be too much. Before the group tries to fight Seifer, Fujin dropped her speech quirk and pleaded Seifer to stop. Despite her speech, Seifer claimed that it was too late for him now and that he wished Raijin and Fujin to live happy lives. Dismayed, Fujin lifted Raijin, displaying just how strong she can be and left Lunatic Pandora and their friend behind. Their hopes rested with Squall’s group in bringing Seifer back.
Eventually, after the events of Time Compression, Seifer had finally returned to the way he used to be. Together, the posse left Balamb Garden. As their first bit of freedom, the trio enjoy an outing at the docks of Balamb. Seifer couldn’t catch a thing and Raijin did. Seeing how angry Seifer was and knowing that their friend needed some relief from anger all the time, Fujin had deliberately kicked Raijin into the sea.
The three have since now gone to Galbadia Garden under Seifer’s wishes. There, Seifer has made quite a name for himself since the events of these mysterious portals and the fal’ Cie. Here is where Fujin and Raijin help Seifer with his new Garden. Once again, no doubt, their group would eventually conflict with Balamb Garden. It’s only a matter of time.

- Goal oriented and stops at nothing until the task is done. Usually gets her tasks appointed to her done.

- Strong when it comes to wind magic and is invincible to wind magic being used on her.

- Refuses to speak more than the most minimum number of words possible to get her point across and those outside the posse don’t often understand her.
