1.) Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?
Vale got along with his parents well enough when he was a kid. He wasn't especially close with either, but they did get along well and never really had too much to complain about. He certainly wasn't spoiled by any means, only left to run a little too freely. His dad died when he was relatively young, and while it did affect him, it didn't devastate him. From there, his separation from his mom began, and once he was eighteen they had begun separate lives. Vale barely knows where she lives now.
2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?
His hair would be one thing, certainly, since it's long enough and bushy enough to be noticeable. He has...a noticeable tan, too. And...a sharp chin. AGAIN, I DUNNO.
3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don’t have any, is there a reason?
His right elbow has skin that doesn't quite look normal. He tore it up biiiig time while he was in his teens from falling out of a window and bashing it against a tin shelter on the way down. The elbow still bothers him sometimes, too.
4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?
Vale is not remotely vain about appearance. Just maybe a little confident otherwise. He just considers himself an average-looking dude. Never thinks much about it.
5.) What’s your character’s ranking on the Kinsey Scale?
Again, -422. But no, really, he's probably even worst about finding women attractive than Cole, since Cole's sillier about it. So -423.
6.) Describe your character’s happiest memory.
Getting taken out of jail to do what he loves, probably. He did have some happy times with his family, but mostly, they were never highly memorable things because his family wasn't the most well-off of all time. But he was sick and tired of jail by the time the guild came, and he was pretty darn thrilled - like, schoolboy thrilled - with their offer. It might not have been the happiest memory, but definitely the most exciting one.
7.) Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?
Vale is the kind to live with no real regrets, so he probably wouldn't go back to change much. He would probably like to go back and punch the traitors in the guild a few times, but that's just a minor thing.
8.) Day of Favorites! What’s your character’s favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?
He likes plain ol' chocolate ice cream. Color is red. Song doesn't count. Flower...probably something red too.

9.) Who does your character trust?
Not too many people anymore after the guild has betrayed him. He trusts Gina, because he knows she got just as screwed over as he did, if not worse now that Shinra got to her too. She's surely at the top of the list. His brother would be in there somewhere, since they got along and his brother stuck up for him while he was thieving as a child. His mother would be kind of on the list, though he doesn't completely trust her since she paid him little mind even when he was a teenager. Rikku is getting there. Otherwise, he doesn't trust anyone to be honest.
10.) Can you define a turning point in your character’s life? Multiples are acceptable.
His father's death was one, because it was what got him into running wild and stealing crap from people in the first place. The second was when he was busted out of jail by the thieves guild and joined them. That provided him quite a few years of his well-being and focus right there. The last was the betrayal of the guild, which has made him appreciate the good people more and actually being honorable in his thievery. It's also possibly earned him "work" with Shinra, though he doesn't know how long it'll last before they want him behind bars too.
