OOC: I've never played a bad guy before, so please feel free to critique me and hopefully I can change it up to suit this site!
“Well then, until next we meet, my beautiful queen.” Kuja said reverently, as he gave a flourishing bow. As he rose back to his full height, he offered Queen Brahne a kind smile. “I look forward to it.” Smoothly turning away from the woman on the throne, the second his back was turned the smile fell from his face and he rolled his eyes. This will be far too easy. Kuja pushed open both doors simultaneously to exit the throne room, and glided effortlessly from the castle grounds.
Passing people in the streets, Kuja slowed his pace as a father and son came into view. They were working hard, fixing something along the side of a building. He couldn’t see what it was, but they were very efficient. It reminded him of the reason he was put on Gaia, and he was surprised at the flash of hurt that shot through him. Why couldn’t he trust me? Why did Garland create that…thing? Kuja was more than capable of performing his duties. There didn’t need to be another. Glaring at the son as he passed, seeing him as the creature he had dropped on this planet all those years ago, he swept out of the city.
Continuing to the area where he had left his mount, his thoughts continued to swirl around in his mind, returning to manipulating the overweight queen. That stupid elephant woman. She is by far the worst kind of glutton. She hungers for power, amongst other things…clearly. I highly doubt she will be able to handle the kind of power she craves, but it will be interesting to see how the first act proceeds! He was looking forward to watching the queen of Alexandria fail miserably. These people were so easy to toy with!
His dark mood lifted considerably as the silver dragon he was partnered with came into view. It growled a greeting towards him, and he offered it a genuine smile. He rarely showed affection, but when he did it was generally towards the dragon. “It will be an interesting time ahead. We will all need to play our parts. I hope I can count on you.” he whispered, petting the large nose that was thrust into his hand. Kuja’s dragon had found a shady spot to lay in, and the Angel of Death moved to sit against the creature’s flank. A feathery wing came to rest over the humanoid’s shoulder, and he leaned back against his mount with a sigh.
“She won’t last long. Alexander’s power will be mine. The stupid woman is so power-hungry that she is already eating out of the palm of my hand. It won’t take too much effort to squeeze the life out of her.” He had to admit, though, that his real interest lay in the queen’s daughter. He could feel the power emanating from the girl as he passed her earlier on in his visit. If I can tap into her power as well as Alexander, I will be unstoppable. I can take back my rightful place, and destroy any who oppose me. With that last cheerful thought in mind, he closed his eyes and rested in the shade provided by his silver dragon, his hand absently stroking the giant leg beside him.
