Since we've recently updated some of the graphics coding on the site, I wanted to put this here to make sure everyone's aware and keeps their graphics in line with new and old requirements.
We have updated the avatar coding on the site so you are no longer restricted to 100x100. However, we're making the new required size for avatars 150x250 and no larger. That's 150 wide by 250 high. You can feel free to stick with the 100x100 avatars or some combination under 150x250 if you would like, however.
We've noticed a bit of site-stretching with some other graphics lately, such as templates and signatures. While there are no uniform requirements for either signatures or templates, to keep the site from stretching we'd like to see them no wider than 500 pixels wide. Anything bigger will be shrunk down, and even then they sometimes still stretch out the threads they're in. 500 wide or smaller is a good size that reaches almost from side to side, so it should be a good enough size for anyone's graphics.
That's all! Just make sure you keep to the requirements. If you can't shrink something down yourself, you can usually ask one of us to cut it down a bit for you. Repa and I can usually do it fairly easily. Thanks for reading!
