Appearance oh dear...um...standing at 5,9, Kirtana is tall, strong and lithe, able to wield a heavy weapon with ease. Kirtana wears an outfit consisting of mainly black leather?, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She wears heeled red boots. Kirtana has a piece of tan colored cloth hanging from a belt around her hips that holds some things she needs. Her hands are covered with black gloves, with sleeves that are a dark red. Her face is covered with a metal mask that has slats to protect her face accompanied by a pointed horn like metal piece that comes out from her head. This she only wears when in battle. Part of her hair is tied up so as to keep it out of her way when she is fighting.
Personality:
Strong willed and stubborn in certain ways, Kirtana is at the same time knowing of when she needs to quit and when she cannot win. As well as being fiery tempered as well as calm. It all depends on the situation. Kirtana knows when to hold it together and let nothing show, as well as when she can allow her temper to show through. In certain situations, Kirtana finds it difficult to hold it together, while in others it is very easy to simply stand back and watch. She can kick your butt while still looking beautiful.
She takes things seriously, her job, her life, her fighting. She will fight to the death for a cause she deems worthy, and quit when she does not think the cause is worth it. Yet the 'worthiness' is not always determined by simply goodness, as she has the 'Survive comes before conscience' mentality. Though it would seem as though she didn't, Kirtana thinks deeply about her actions as well as the actions of others, and at times has a hard time knowing she is doing something that will harm good people. Perhaps because she doesn't think of herself as one of those 'good people.' But with everything, she pushes it back into the depths so as to try and not think about it. Yet as always, her thoughts have the nasty timing of always resurfacing at some point.
Mostly Kirtana is mysterious, has a hard time opening up about her past and greatly dislikes anyone taking advantage of those that are 'weak.' Because of this, she will normally only attack those she thinks can hold their own. Interestingly enough, she has a strong sense of honor. She questions everything, even her own actions and decisions, everything that happens as well as exactly what each decision will do, for those around her as well as herself. Perhaps she will one day question the side she is on.
History:
Kirtana was born and raised in Tenebrae. Her father worked for the army, which classified her as an 'army brat.' She grew up as any other child at the time, with a strict father who, because of his job, was not around most of the time. And so for that reason Kirtana grew up a quiet child. observing more then she spoke. She realized all to well that her father wanted a son, and so she grew up the disappointment. Her mother tried as hard as she could, and Kirtana really did love her, but she always wanted her father to love her the same way. An area of her life she would always be disappointed in.
She was content with her life, not one to complain, Kirtana nonetheless questioned almost everything. this included the ruler ship of the country, which was a scare to her parents, who swore that nothing should be questioned.
When she was 8 years old her life started to fall apart. A man came to their house with news. News that her father been killed in battle when the opposing nation (Noct's nation). He brought with him her father's mechanical lance. As a young child Kirtana didn't know ho react, so she reacted with the anger of a child with no control of her emotions. Facing the knowledge that her father was dead, Kirtana left her house to go find the man who was in charge of the army. She managed to find him him and asked him one question. 'why do they allow you to lead when you are not capable of keeping your men alive?'
Kirtana was dragged back to her mother who received a warning of her daughters insolence. From that day on she watched her mother work herself to death, trying to keep them fed, her mom took any job she could get. Cleaning or cooking, washing or anything that she could find. For years she worked constantly while Kirtana could do nothing but try to help and watch as she deteriorated before her eyes. When she finally got sick and passed away, Kirtana was thirteen years old. For all of those years she had worked as hard as she could, though her mother made her go to school. Yet during those years she had kept looking at her fathers lance, hanging on the wall so proudly.
The day her mother died was the first day Kirtana ever picked it up. She remembered her father wanting a boy, and decided to make him proud, even if he was dead. Leaving her home behind, Kirtana walked to the military academy. She wanted two things. One, to avenge her father, which meant to train to one day attack the nation who had killed him in battle. And two, to make her parents proud. That was her original idea when she went into the academy. Once there, she asked to join the military. Skeptical of a thirteen year old girl, when they saw the weapon she carried they allowed her to join.
From that day on Kirtana herself died. She was addressed as Thrakena, and thought it best that way. With nothing else, she trained constantly to become a master at her weapon, which she succeeded at. She joined the army ranks and made a name for herself there, getting stronger. Yet her father has yet to be avenged. Will she continue on? Or will she yet again question why she is doing what she is?

Role Play Sample:
The bodyguard.
He was here.
Glancing around, blue eyes blinked, hidden behind the slats of the mask as the tall young woman stood, arms crossed. It had been a very long time, and yet she wondered if her father had felt like this, during that last battle. Like this might be the end. When the grunt with the information ran up to her, Kirtana uncrossed her arms and turned to face him, no emotion apparent on her face. What little that ever showed was hidden by the slats on her mask. Holding out her hand, she didn't speak until he did. "Thrakena?" With a small nod, Kirtana didn't bother to look at him after the first glance, instead focusing her gaze on the small packet of information he had in his hands. That was it. Instructions and everything else on the bodyguard, as well as the exact location of what he had been sent to inspect.
"Of course."
She knew the real reason they were here. The base. Rumor was that this bodyguard had been sent to find their base, or at least, to see if there was a base. Kirtana knew just how dangerous his presence near the base was. If he found the information that was stored in that base, he would know all their activities planned, as well as the names and information that would greatly increase their chances of infiltrating their own country. That information couldn't fall into their hands. Especially the hands of the bodyguard of the Prince. He had the power to be able to get every man in their army to invade. Even with how much the army had been advancing lately, Kirtana wasn't sure if they would be able to win the fight. They had the power of the crystal to back them up. And in a war, she knew just how important that was.
So the man saluted and started rambling on. "I was sent here with the great honor of giving you the information that is in this envelope. I really hope tha-" Kirtana waved and cut him off, "I know why you were sent here. The package please." Holding out her gloved hand, Kirtana lifted her eyes to look at the grunt as he nervously moved and handed her the package. Paying him no further attention, Kirtana turned swiftly and walked back toward where the other higher ups were. Scanning over the material, she stopped dead when she read the bold print. "IMPORTANT: IF OPERATION FAILS, IMMEDIATE DESTRUCTION OF BASE." Why would they blow up their own base? Narrowing her eyes, Kirtana handed the papers to the man in front of her. As he scanned it, she thought about the reasoning behind that.
And she reasoned on why. Of course. If the operation failed, then the information would be in the hands of the prince. Better to destroy everything and start over then allow that to happen. When the man spoke, all he said was. "Don't fail." Smiling slightly, Kirtana adjusted her mask and turned, "I don't fail." Walking off, the cloth connected to her waist fluttered and she went to go radio the men. "This is Thrakena. I am to attempt to kill the bodyguard. If attempt fails, destruction of base has been ordered. You shall have instructions on what to do either way." Clicking the radio to standby, she turned once more and nodded to the men. It was time for her to start the operation.
Clearing her throat, Kirtana grabbed her lance and started off. She was going to be dropped from a hover specially designed to be soundless. It didn't set quite right with her, but she knew it was how they wanted it. She was a fair fighter though, and would give the bodyguard a chance to defend himself before she simply killed him. Their base had to remain. Without it, they would not be able to get the Intel they needed to win the war. Yet what really were they fighting for? Shaking off the thought she had wondered how many hundreds of times, Kirtana walked to the hover and got on, sliding her lance into the weapon carrier. She would go alone, as she normally liked to fight. This was a fight for her...and she would succeed. The base depended on her.
