Accessories: An amulet given to him by his mother
Appearance: Dante has white hair that he keeps brushed down, though in all honestly he doesn't style it at all. He wakes up with his naturally that way. His most obvious design trait is his affinity for red-colored apparel, in the form of a long, two tailed coat. The trench-coat has zippers on the sleeves and a buckle around the waist with holsters for his weapons, but after Dante's battle with Vergil, the right sleeve is damaged. He sports a pair of brown trousers with brown combat boots. He chooses to go shirtless as a way of showing off his awesome physique to the ladies and to his enemies to let them know just what they're getting themselves into.
Personality: Dante is incredibly flippant, mouthing off to the most powerful of monsters, anyone in high positions of power, and generally enjoying rubbing people the wrong way. Michelangelo is also seemingly unflappable, never seeming to be outwardly fazed by anything, whether he's being attacked by soldiers in his office or a giant serpent demon closing it's jaws on him from behind.
Dante can seem at times to be uncaring, or even callous. However, he actually has a very strong sense of right and wrong, he prefers to fight fair and can be counted on to do the right thing, even if he is making quips the entire time. He can be serious when the situation calls for it, but he still maintains a fairly laid-back demeanor during such situations and is never without a witty taunt or comeback.
Despite verbally complaining about being in debt, Dante seems quite willing to perform missions solely for the good of them, and rarely enforces payment from poor clients. In fact, Dante will typically refuse any job he dislikes, regardless of how much it pays, but will immediately take on any paranormal cases (especially those involving demon hunting), with or without pay.
Dante also has an extreme fondness for pizza and strawberry sundaes, the main, and usually only, two food groups in his daily eating habits. He also enjoys gambling, though he never wins unless it's a contest of skill. Dante harbors a deep hatred for Cie'th/L'Cie/Demons, for what they did in his past. Though he does make an exception for certain few that gain his trust.
History: The younger son of Sparda, Dante was born on Gaia after his father's death. Growing up, Dante lived a normal life with his mother and brother. His life changed forever the day his mother was murdered by a Cie'th and demon tag-team. Witnessing the event traumatized the young half-breed and gained him a new found loathing for his demon side, along with demons and monsters everywhere. So he continued to live life with no one but his twin Vergil by his side.
Alongside his brother, he set out on Gaia to fulfill his destiny of becoming the lord who ruled over the land just as their father before them, but Dante wasn't really interested in ruling anything. He just went along with it for Vergil's sake. The two demon brothers became known for their uncommon resiliency, which they got from their father, as well as their adept abilities to wield his weapons (Yamato, Rebellion, Force Edge).
As they grew older Dante and Vergil began to differ in character. Dante, who appreciated his human side more, became compassionate toward humanity. While Vergil, who appreciated his demonic heritage, began to grow cold and calloused to the troubles of the world. This was never more apparent than when the two of them were approached by SOLDIER to join it's ranks and Dante was willing to join, while Vergil was reluctant because he saw a human organization as something that would eventually have to be destroyed. Eventually they both agreed that they would not join, and continued on their way.
Soon enough Vergil and Dante became two polarizing figures, as their wills began to clash over what the fate of the humans on Gaia would be. If it were left up to Vergil he would rule over them with an iron fist, while if Dante had his way they would co-exist peacefully. As a result the two of them had one of the most cataclysmic battles seen on Gaia. Vergil attacked as did Dante, neither seemed to be gaining the upper hand as they were evenly matched. The battle ended with both of them severely injured as Vergil left his brother with what seemed to be a fatal wound to the abdomen, needless to say Dante did not die.
Dante hasn't seen his brother since that fateful day a full year ago. He has now opened up his own mercenary business, taking calls from who ever, but mainly only taking those involving monsters or demons of some sort.
Abilities: Drive- A lightning quick sword slash that sends a red shock wave of energy towards the enemy.
Air Hike- By concentrating magical energy into the area under his feet, Dante is able to perform a double jump to maneuver through the air.
Dance Macabre- Dante fires off a massive number of sword slashes at breakneck speeds to obliterate the enemy, then he plants his sword into the ground and spun around it, kicking all enemies in the immediate vicinity.

Crystal- He thrusts his nunchucks into the ground's surface to sprout huge ice pillars in his surrounding vicinity.
Devil Trigger- Dante unleashes the full power of his demonic side, transforming his body into a hideous version of it's former self, though his power, speed, and durability increases dramatically. He even has a small healing factor while in this form.
Summons: Vergil. No matter how far, no matter where you are, he'll be there!
Magic:
Strengths: He has enough superhuman physical strength to punch through stone, and often overpowers opponents much larger than himself. He is also extremely agile, able to jump to great heights or even to balance on a flying rocket. Dante has also proven himself to be an extremely capable combatant. He has shown incredible proficiency with many types of weapons including several different types of swords, nunchaku, gauntlets, and a scythe, displaying near mastery of them within moments of picking them up. He has also shown impressive skill in unarmed combat. He also displays impeccable shooting skills. He has been shown able to flawlessly hit targets as small as the pommel of his sword, and can shoot other peoples bullets out of mid-air
Weaknesses: Needles, he hates needles. The very sight of one sends him into hysterics. Gambling, he can't turn down a bet, yet he always loses unless it involves a contest of skills. Attractive Women, he can't help but flirt with 'em all. Pizza, and strawberry sundaes. His two favorite foods ever, offer them to him and he's putty in your hands.
Weapon; Rebellion- it has the form of a standard sword, it is a magical blade given to him as a keepsake from his father, and it serves as both a physical manifestation of his power, and through it's name, meaning "resistance", a symbol of his spirit
Ebony and Ivory- Ebony & Ivory are Dante's trademark pair of personally customized, semi-automatic handguns, designed to rapidly fire bullets instilled with alchemic power. The right gun, Ivory, was custom built for rapid firing and fast draw times, while the left gun, Ebony, has been modified for long-distance targeting and comfort.
Cerberus- A weapon of 3 interlocking rods, infused with the elemental power of ice
Crushes: All the pretty women of the worlds
