Appearance
Personality: Vergil, being the complete opposite of his brother, Dante, is very calm, cool, and collected. He does not show compassion for any enemy when it comes to battle, and his demeanor when not in battle is no different. In general Vergil's patience for the human race is non-existent, however he never fails to save an innocent human when it is needed. He feels pure disgust toward his brother, yet he has an unparalleled love and respect for him as well.
He is quiet, however not out of in-confidence. Vergil's confidence stems from his lack of fear for anyone besides his father Sparda. And even if Sparda stood in his face, Vergil would show no fear of his father that could be clearly seen. Whatever you do, don't piss him off, he will not hesitate to rip you to shreds. Vergil is cocky in defeat, and I wouldn't know exactly how he acts in defeat. For he does not lose.
History: The Elder son of Sparda, Vergil was born on Gaia after his father's death. As a young boy Vergil was exposed to many cruelties including the eventual killing of his mother. Alongside his brother, Dante he set out on Gaia to fulfill his destiny of becoming the lord who ruled over the land just as his father before him. The two demon brothers became known for their uncommon resiliency, which they got from their father, as well as their adept abilities to wield his weapons (Yamato, Rebellion, Force Edge).
As they grew older Dante and Vergil began to differ in character. Dante, who appreciated his human side more, became compassionate toward humanity. While Vergil, who appreciated his demonic heritage, began to grow cold and calloused to the troubles of the world. This was never more apparent than when the two of them were approached by SOLDIER to join it's ranks and Dante was willing to join, while Vergil was reluctant because he saw a human organization as something that would eventually have to be destroyed.
Soon enough Vegil and Dante became two polarizing figures, as their wills began to clash over what the fate of the humans on Gaia would be. If it were left up to Vergil he would rule over them with an iron fist, while if Dante had his way they would co-exist peacefully. As a result the two of them had one of the most cataclysmic battles seen on Gaia. Vergil attacked as did Dante, neither seemed to be gaining the upper hand as they were evenly matched. The battle ended with both of them severely injured as Vergil left his brother with what seemed to be a fatal wound to the abdomen, needless to say Dante did not die.
However, his brother's willingness to protect the humans at the cost of his own life struck a chord with Vergil. After all, Sparda too was a demon who protected humanity with his life. Vergil, from that day forward swore never to harm another human, just as his brother and father would want it. So now Vergil circles the globe as a symbol of hope, peace, and protection for those who can not defend themselves against the legions of evil. Finding himself in many clashes with SOLDIER, as well as the Turks.
Abilities:
Devil Trigger: Vergil accesses his full demonic power and turns into a demonic humanoid type creature which takes Vergil's already tremendous power and multiplies it by ten fold.
Rapid Slash: Vergil uses Yamato and his blinding speed to dash at his target and hits them with a flurry of slashes which will sever or severely cut anything Yamato comes in contact with.
Judgement Cut: Vegil pulls both Yamato and Force edge and poises both forward and unleashes an unholy combination of slashes with both swords, in most cases leaving the target dead, and Vergil says, ''Judgement has been passed''.
Rising Sun: Utilizing Beowulf Vergil moves to his opponent and begins to punch and kick at them with very bad intention, the last punch sends the target airborne where Vergil appears above them and attempts to slice them into four pieces using Yamato and Force Edge.
Summons: Dante. Regardless of where he is.... Dante.
Magic: None
Strengths: Vergil along with his brother Dante share demonic qualities that they gained from their father, Sparda. Among these are being able to move at insane speed, accelerated healing, amazing swordsmanship, unparalleled martial arts, super strength, and invulnerability to human weapons, such as bullets, and blades.
Weaknesses: Vergil's only weakness lies in his vulnerability to magic.
Weapon Yamato
Crushes: Power!
