So. Rikku had told him that he needed to visit around sometime eh? Well, Gippal was going to try his best to get around places, still, he had a faction to take care of. Still, it would be nice to get away for a few days every now and then. Piloting the Ragnarok was no big deal, but getting around to finding Rikku? Well…that was a mystery to just about anyone wanting to pinpoint her exact location. Since the crazy issue with the farplane, it seemed as if she’d vanished off the face of the earth, wherever she was…Gippal at least hoped she was okay and not getting herself into too much trouble…but knowing the blonde, even that was a difficult accomplishment for her to succeed in, NOT getting in trouble, hmph. After having visited Cid – in his quest to finding Rikku – Gippal had come up empty handed. That was one person down, even Brother – who was just as annoying and weird as Rikku said last time – hadn’t a clue as to where she was.
So…where did one go from here?
The next person to check with was an obvious person. Gippal had traveled all over Spira it seemed, not that it took much time, but tracking down Yuna probably wasn’t as difficult as finding someone as…sneaky as Rikku. The first place to check for the former High Summoner was…Besaid of course, and if she was here, that was of course one step closer to Rikku. Already, Gippal had landed his airship and started towards the small village just up ahead near the old temple. Gippal hadn’t really been here before, it was different, but his perfect sense of direction led him the right way, he could see the tall standing temple, and then the village itself. With a raised eyebrow, Gippal noticed the structures were much different than what he was used to, they seemed like tents…not very sturdy…but, whatever, they obviously felt safe with the way things were, and he wasn’t about to judge that…at least not outloud.
Moving around, Gippal got a few looks, not because he was a new comer of sorts, but because…there was still a bit of tension between the whole ‘being an Al Bhed’ thing, but that was to be expected. Not everyone was going to drop their ways and beliefs, whether it be about machina, sin, or even Yevon. People were going to believe anything they were taught, and Gippal was okay with that, he simply didn’t say anything in response to the comments about the blonde hair or swirly green eyes. Haters were gonna hate, or admire his dashing good looks, either was fine, he didn’t care one bit. With a confident stride, he gave a few smiles towards some of those who gave him friendly greetings first, especially some of the ladies, but really, his focus was on finding Yuna, wherever she may be. Upon seeing a girl – woman he should say – about his age, he approached her and in the kindest tone, he began to speak. “Excuse me, I know Yuna, the high summoner, used to reside here…do you know if she is still here in Besaid?” of course someone would be looking for Yuna rather than paying attention to someone who wasn’t as famous...he could tell by the short-lived disgruntled look upon the girl’s face before he gave her a charming smile. “The help would be appreciated greatly.” He added, getting her cooperation a bit better than he had a few moments ago. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words: 691 Muse: Good! The woman replied to him that she saw her going to the beach. People always were talking to Yuna as they were so greatful of their hight summoner. So, it wasn't that hard for them to hear from her as she was so outgoing and care for them. She cares for everyone too much, that was always in her personality.
It was still, morning breaking over the horizon as the sun peeked over the endless body of water. The deep blue began to glitter furiously. Eventually it would cover at even space, the entirely of the ocean in a blanket of dancing light. There were no boats, nothing, on the horizon. Each time she came out here, she was spending time alone making thoughts. She felt peacefull again after all that hard time she had with the farplane. She was happy that Rikku visited again thought- as she was alone because her friends haven't visited in a while.
But what she would do now? It wasn't nice that Rikku was in trouble but she was actually enjoying helping her. She didn't felt lonely at least. But if she was going to see her friends only if they were upset then it would be better not seeing them at all. She was the kind of person that isn't selfish and wants everyone happy. She has show that in the past, how she would sacrifise herself for them and this is how she was since. So, she was feeling confidence and enjoing her time relaxing at the beach.
After some time she stood up and starting walking her way back. She heard a voice behind her "Lady Yuna?" she turned around she saw someone who was living near the temple, she could recognise her face. She told her that a blond guy was searching for the high summoner and told him to come here. She was surpised. A smile appeared on her face she felt so excited! That she felt like jumping around screaming: yaaaaay his back. She sat down expecting him to come over to find her. She couldn't feel her feet, she was almost shaking. She was smiling and she felt like she couldn't wait anymore. Well she didn't know that she went all happy for a false reason.
She heard some footsteps. She stood up and ran to him and hugged him. "Tiiiduuuus!" she shouted. After she hugged him she went one step back and look him at his face. "Oooh it-it's you? I-I thought that...Well,...that was...embarassing. Sorry, I'm happy you're here!" she said as her face went all red from the awkwardness.

Gippal stood there, tapping his foot against the ground as he folded his arms across his chest. The young lady whom he had just been talking to had skipped off to go search for ‘lady Yuna’, leaving the machina expert waiting, letting his eyes wander around as he looked at this super tiny village, wondering how people here lived. What happened if a huge storm came? Did they have some sort of shelter? Well, he assumed they could use the temple for that…but their homes would get destroyed, would they not? He was obviously over thinking something that really didn’t matter, but hey…he was simply curious, that wasn’t a crime now was it? With his eyes still wandering around, they caught sight of another young lady approaching him, a smile on her face and the look of innocence to her. “Sir, the other girl has informed me that she’s spotted Lady Yuna, head down towards the coast…you should find her there, don’t get lost!”
Okay…
Giving the other woman a friendly nod, Gippal started his pace again, quickly and determined he was as he strode back across the small village towards a pathway that he figured would lead towards the beach. It was the way the first woman had gone, all he’d have to do was use his best judgment as to which way to go, but before he even got the chance to actually start out of the village, he saw a brown haired beacon running quickly towards him before colliding with him, pulling him into a hug and well…instantly putting him into a confusing state of mind, not that he minded a hug by a beautiful woman…but…her words obviously weren’t meant for him. That was…awkward. Standing there like a brick wall, Gippal let his eyes wander before he was let go of, Yuna realizing he was not the man she was excited to see, that Tidus character, but…just ol’ Gippal. Her words brought a slight smirk to his face, he could easily poke a bit of fun now, that was always entertaining, especially with someone like Yuna. “Aw, and here I was thinking you were actually excited to see me, hugging me and all that.” He said with a shrug before putting a very disappointed look on his face, all for show.
“That didn’t sound very convincing, now if I were this Tidus fellow, you can bet that I’d still be getting a hug and words of how you’ve missed me and yadda yadda.” He said making note of the redness on her face, finding it quite amusing, almost making him want to chuckle…but he simply held that back and gave her a grin. Stepping back slightly, he folded his arms across his chest again, still grinning. “It’s nice to see you, Yuna, I’m going to assume everything’s been going alright for you lately?” raising an eyebrow he let his eyes move from the high summoner to the village behind him again, it was still so interesting to look at, so…colorful actually. Quite fascinating to him, which was odd for someone who was used to machines and technology everywhere. His thinking about Besaid was cut off when a voice was heard, a small figure running towards Gippal and Yuna, the same young lady that’d first gone off to find the summoner. “Lady Yuna! You must come quick, something odd had formed within the old temple…we aren’t sure what it is! Please help!” she whined before turning heel and trudging quickly back towards the temple.
Gippal shot Yuna a look after that display of…something. Moving his arms from across his chest to behind his head, he shrugged his shoulders up again. “Look at you, being the hero. Whatever this thing is, obviously it needs to be checked out…I’m tagging along.” He informed before his swirly green eye – since the other was patch covered – began to gaze at the temple across the village. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words: 765 Muse: Good! Yunie was even more embarrassed by Gippal's words. She was looking at him all red. The first blond guy she had on her mind was Tidus, so when she realized it was him she was dissapointed but she didn't want to sound rude. Then the lady appeared and the brunette got a little nervous. "So I guess I have to go for now. Will you wait for me here? We'll talk then." she smiled to Gippal as she started walking towards the temple. Her redness was gone and now her face went worried. "What went wrong this time?" she asked on her mind. She couldn't have a peaceful day -even though she was enjoying adventures- but didn't want anyone to get hurt or be in trouble.
"Lady Yuna! Something terrible is happening!" the young lady from before all sad. "What is this all about?" the young brunette asked. "Come look at this!" she shouted at her. Yuna walked behind the temple. She raised her head, the wall was destroed and some blood was all over. "What moster did that? Is anybody hurted?" she said suprised. She got even closer, there was a note. She kneed down looked closer. We will destroy every world and you too. "Me? What? Who wrote this?" she already thought she knew the answer, but she asked anyway. "Some guys from the Fal'cie attacked the temple and the jumped into that portal. Nobody got hurt luckily." said the lady. "They are just trying to scare everyone. I don't think that the blood is real either. But I'm so sick of them think they can do whatever they want." She said so everyone would calm down. Yuna felt so angry.
She headed back to where Gippal was. "I'm so angry you won't believe what those stupid Fal'cie did again!" she folded her arms across her chest and gave him a cute angry face. She explained what they did and asked for his advice. "They really did get on my nerves this time but I don't really know what to do now...I just want to punch their faces!" it was cute to hear that from Yuna. She looked like some angry kid that someone took her ice cream from her. "Anyway...Why did you want to tell me before all that came around?" she asked him trying to sound calmer. Okay…so Gippal was just going to wait here then!
Nodding towards Yuna as she departed momentarily, the machina faction owner folded his arms behind his head and began to just look at the different things surrounding him…like…nature. His eyes ultimately went to the clear sky, his mind running around different thoughts as he simply watched nothing cross over the clear blue. Not a cloud in the sky, or anything else for that matter, which simply let Gippal let his thoughts run wild. They moved from his faction back by the old Djose temple, they moved to Rikku of course and the fact that he should be visiting more and blah blah blah, and they moved to whatever this emergency was with Yuna within the temple. His eyes moved downwards as he looked across the small village towards the temple, waiting for Yuna as she had requested.
When he saw the brunette exit the temple, he dropped his arms to his sides and waited for her return. But watching her, he’d noticed a complete mood change from when she’d went inside the temple to just now. Instead of being all pink faced and embarrassed, she was practically seething…like a small child would when upset about something. It wasn’t a reoccurring thing, seeing Yuna angry – at least that was Gippal’s assumption, they weren’t exactly best friends you know – and as she wandered back, he rose an eyebrow at her words. Yep, she was mad. Folding his arms now across his chest, he listened to her speak, but was thrown off by her words. The…fal’cie? The fal’cie. THE FAL’CIE! Gippal knew where that term came from. He’d recently been to another world…a more…ancient world than Spira, and oh god the fal’cie. But what could those gigantic god-like beings be doing here in Spira? With one eyebrow still quirked, he tilted his head some…ready to interrupt what could’ve been a nice conversation about Rikku.
“Wait a second. What are you talking about, Fal’cie? What’d…they do?” he asked, taking a step past Yuna, his eagerness to see the temple and what had happened was rising slowly. Turning slightly, he patted Yuna’s shoulder before back pedaling towards the temple, a shrug and a small grin crossing his face. “You should show me what happened back here, truth is, I know a thing or two about these…fal’cie.” He said still back pedaling. “I can ask you later.” He mentioned once more before turning around and heading towards the temple, pretty sure that Yuna would be soon to follow him, especially if she wanted to know what it was he wanted in the first place. But really, Gippal’s curiosity indeed got the best of him, and when he wandered up and into the temple, he stopped abruptly, a hand going towards his head to scratch at his hair and scalp, a bit of a…confused look on his face. He saw everything, from the blood to the message left for anyone and everyone in this village to see. “Well, that’s nifty.”
Turning around and facing Yuna, Gippal actually had a serious expression on his face. “And…do you know where the people or creatures behind this went?” ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words: 632 Muse: Good!
