1.) Describe your character’s relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?
Nike now can't explicitly remember her parents, since she's a manikin, but as a youth she was raised almost completely by her father. Her mother was sickly and mostly bed-ridden and died when Nike was five years old. Thus, her father, who was a military man, raised her as a tomboy and almost as he would have raised a boy. He was kind of the coach dad, trying to get her to do things better and faster than anyone else...but she didn't actually mind it that much. In fact, she loved him greatly, and he lived to see her become a great soldier before he himself was killed in the war. Thereabouts that time was when some of her actions started to become questionable.
2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?
Her height is somewhat noteworthy - almost six feet tall. She also possesses hair that hangs all the way down to her butt. The irises of her eyes are slightly larger than a normal human's, and she does not have the same eye swirl as a real Al-Bhed due to being a manikin.
3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don’t have any, is there a reason?
She's too new and manikin-y to have any scars.
4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?
Oh boy. Nike isn't really the one to say so much about it aloud, but she is vaaaaaaaaaaain. She thinks she is the hot snot and anyone who disagrees can die for all she cares. Even if, on the outside, she acts like she doesn't care much, she looks in the mirror and sees something absolutely exquisite. She tries to use her apparent fantastic looks to small advantage, too. So yeah...Nike loves herself.
5.) What’s your character’s ranking on the Kinsey Scale?
Probably something like...a 1. She was heterosexual when not a manikin but didn't care much about such things at all. Being a manikin has confused the situation, but she still doesn't care and is, essentially, asexual though her memories tell her that's not quite right.
6.) Describe your character’s happiest memory.
She can't remember it perfectly, but her happiest memory was rising to her position in the military. She got where she was - as a non-commissioned officer with a squad - faster than any other member of the military in Spira's history. Her dad got to see her reach that level too before passing away. Her pride was practically tangible.
7.) Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?
Probably being created by Cid in the first place for the manikin form of Nike. Her regular old self wouldn't have any, but she, and she would never admit it and hates knowing it about herself, hates even existing in the Dissidia world. She knows it wasn't necessary for her to do so.
8.) Day of Favorites! What’s your character’s favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?
She doesn't eat sweets. Her favorite color would be light blue (obviously). Song doesn't count. Flower...she's not a big flowers person, as it were.
9.) Who does your character trust?
No one, really. She is most likely to trust other people who are military, but when it gets down to it, she only really trusts herself...now, at least. She used to trust her squad pretty much.
10.) Can you define a turning point in your character’s life? Multiples are acceptable.
Her mother's death was one - it put her on the path towards becoming the tomboyish soldier she was. The next was her father's death, which turned her...kind of corrupt, actually.
