Just getting started and want to know what's been happening in plots lately in the world your character is from?

Here each member of the staff will provide you with some insight as to what's been happening on each world. Though it generally will stick to main plot points, it can have some minor going ons as well! Worlds that are missing, are such because no canon characters have been taken or nothing of note has taken place in that world. With these worlds, they're each set after their games, with the plot up to whoever takes the first canon character of the world. So come here to get updated on each situation.

• FINAL FANTASY II
  
  Set after the events of the game, Leonhart has searched for his redemption, and thanks to Warrior of Light, he has learned how to control the darkness within himself, as well as gained what he was searching for. He has now regained the other heroes of this world as they're sent by Queen Hilda to scout out two figures that have made an appearance, which turn out to be Fal'cie that brand them to do their will. Maria and Leon have the task to turn the Chaos from Valhalla into a weapon, while Firion has been branded to destroy the portals leading to the world. Now they must face their fate and decide their destiny.
  
  
• FINAL FANTASY IV
  
  Set in an alternate universe just before the events of The After Years. This alternate universe was created by Rydia, when she became a l'Cie with the focus of having to kill Cecil and Kain, and has changed the events of The After Years. In this time line, Edge and Rydia are married and have two children, while Cecil and Rosa remain married and have their son Ceodore.
  -Update-
  Cecil was thrown through a portal by Caius, who then proceeded to destroy Baron Castle with the king away. The forces that Rosa, Edge, and Rydia could muster were enough to drive the man away, but not before her home crumbled into mostly ruins, her husband missing for the time being.
  
  
• FINAL FANTASY VI
  
  Set after the events of the game, the heroes who stopped Kefka's rampage have primarily gone their separate ways. Celes, Relm and a small handful of other Returners have chosen to remain in Narshe. Edgar and Sabin have returned to their palace in Figaro. The fal'Cie's influence on the World of Ruin has only recently been felt, with Cie'th beginning to roam the land unchecked and unexplained events, such as the revival of General Leo Cristophe, making the presence of fal'Cie magic apparent as the world attempts to rebuild.

  A fal'Cie attack on Figaro has compelled Celes to assemble a small group of fighters operating out of Figaro Castle to deal with the fal'Cie problem on the large scale - meaning through the portals. Members of the group she's assembled include Cloud Strife and Gippal.
  
  
• FINAL FANTASY VII
  
  Set about a year and a half after the events of Dirge of Cerberus, ShinRa has rebuilt their headquarters in Edge, with their organization and the WRO being the primary organizations in Gaia. Heroes and villains are starting to be revived with the lifestream healing itself, and they now make their appearance. Among this, another terrorist group has emerged and has the plan to take down not only ShinRa, but also the WRO and rule Gaia with absolute power. They seem to have risen almost overnight, with different headquarters. One placed in the Forgotten Forest has been found by the Turks and deserted quickly after, retreating to another positioned in Wutai. It would seem that this organizations are trying to use the power that the portals have provided, as well as the currently healing lifestream. It's up to the heroes and the organizations to work together to elimination this threat.
  
  
• FINAL FANTASY VIII
  
  Set after the events of the game, Squall and the rest of the SeeDs have resumed their expanded duties at Balamb Garden. The world has typically been calm after Ultimecia's defeat, but this calm does not mean ease for the Garden. As soon as the threat to time ended, news of the disappearances of teenagers and adults began popping up in the news. The eyes of those investigating the incidents has been naturally turned to Rinoa due to her supposedly unstable powers. Her recent bouts of blackouts have done nothing to help her standing.

  Further complicating matters, Seifer's ambitions have led him to a takeover of what remains of Galbadia Garden.
  
  
• FINAL FANTASY X
  
  After Tidus and Yuna have been reunited in the perfect ending of FFX-2. Nike, an Al-Bhed soldier from the future, has been sent back in time with the ability to try and harness the use of portals and take the energy from the farplane. The pyreflies have reacted to a portal being placed there, causing a large hole to be created, sucking much into a different dimension, and causing pyreflies and fiends to become prevalent in Spira. Gippal and Rikku have come up with a quick 'fix' through machina, but there needs to be a more permanent fix to patch the hole. Rikku is in the midst of getting the heroes back together to come up with a solution and battle back Nike.
  
  
  
• FINAL FANTASY XIII/XIII-2
  
  Set primarily after the events of XIII-2 (with a few threads taking place in-game), the timeline is basically AU with Fang and Vanille having both come out of crystalstasis in 3AF. All other in-game events, however, primarily remained the same - Serah was killed by changes to the timeline, Snow was trapped in the Coliseum, Lightning was carried to the Dying World and Etro's death led to Chaos spreading and stopping time in 400AF. Etro has been replaced, however, by the goddess Cosmos taking up her throne temporarily to restore the timeline. Similarly, Serah has been revived, Lightning brought back to 400AF, Snow freed from the Coliseum and the Academy victorious over invasion forces brought about by both Barthandelus and Caius. The world prepares to settle down into hard-earned normalcy.
  
  
• FINAL FANTASY XIII VERSUS
  
  Since all signs point to a cancellation of Versus, the plot is completely our creation. Set after the events of the trailer in which Noctis is shown fighting Stella, events involving both Noctis' and Stella's fathers have resulted in his providing her shelter in the mansion he holds as a member of the royal family. Believing his son plans to overthrow him by aligning with Stella, the daughter of his primary enemy, King Caelum has turned on Noctis and the three men who protect him by himself turning to his enemies to bring his son down quietly and anonymously in order to hold onto his own power.
  
  
• FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0
  
  Set after the events of the secret ending, with Arecia having reset history and Class Zero facing the heat of war with the Milites yet again. The war has essentially come to a close after Caetuna's summoning of Alexander, but only because Rubrum, the Milites Empire and Concordia alike have been ravaged by the fighting. Class Zero, though, faces the battle they've been expecting their whole lives - the time of Finis has come to pass, and they must do what they can to save the world from facing an apocalypse. Arecia has done what she can to help them, returning two of their deceased to them in order to boost their morale. Currently they find themselves on the run, trying to stay ahead of the destruction Finis is leaving in its wake as they search for clues on how to end it.
