She hurt.
With a groan escaping her lips, Seven shifted until her hands were pressed against the ground and pushed herself up and onto her knees. Ignoring the pain in her side for the moment, the whip wielder scanned her surroundings for any threat of danger. Instantly she realized that she was no longer in Suzaku as she had been just moments before. This landscape wasn't any that she could remember seeing in her life there. so then where was she? Seven tried hard to think while she knelt there. She had been...on a scouting mission to check out Byakko forces, right? Yeah, and she'd slipped on that pile of pebbles and had slid down that hill. Right into-...aha, now she had it. At the bottom had been what they had classified as a 'teleportation door.' After observing the same oddly shaped masses, they had noticed people being spat out of them, claiming to be from different worlds. Though it had seemed ludicrous at first, after a few had been teleported to Oriens, and some from Oriens teleported other places, they had been forced to realize what they were. Unfortunately for her, she had been off balance and unable to escape the force that had sucked her in.
And so here she was, wherever 'here' was located.
Oh great. They had a war to fight, Seven couldn't be lollygagging around in some other world. Pushing herself to her feet, Seven took in more of her surroundings. Okay...so she had no idea where she was, where there might be any sort of civilization, and if she would even receive any help if she found one. This was a perfect day. At least now the stiffness in her body made sense, as she had dropped out of that portal and tumbled down the rocks to her right. ...Of all places to be spat out, she'd had to have been dumped on a pile of sharp rocks. She needed some better luck or something. Bending her knee, Seven hooked her hand onto her ankle and pulled to stretch her leg out. When she heard a crack, she set it back down and tried to determine what way to go.
Okay...she had no idea, but she had to pick some way, even if it was the wrong one. Eeny, meeny, miny, mo later, she determined that she was heading east. Hopefully there was at least something to the East. Anything... There had to be something, right?! Right! After she had rubbed at her eyes, Seven was off, heading in what she hoped was the right way to go. Obviously, it had to be.
It didn't take long to scare of some natives. Unfortunately for her, they were far from friendly. Fortunately she was no stranger to fighting. The growl had alerted her in time to move out of the way before a cat like beast landed right where she had been. Her whip materialized in her hand while she dove away, tucking in her shoulder to roll easier. She set herself quickly, flicking her wrist in order for her whip to encircle the beast. As soon as it did, Seven jerked back, feeling the weight in her arm. Giving it a second of concentration, Seven caused electrocution to spread through her whip. The cat shrieked its distress even while she lifted it in an arc over her head and slammed it into the ground. It started to get up, but a precise hit broke its neck. Well then...things obviously weren't friendly here.
She encountered quite a few more beasts before she found the city. It was a wonder to her when she finally did, but Seven wasn't going to complain. She walked into the gates of the city, thinking all the while that it seemed extremely...old fashioned in its appearance. But maybe that was just her. Getting the attention of a local, Seven put her question to him. "Can you tell me where I am?" The look of disbelief and hearty laugh just made her lips thin. "You want to know where you are? How come you don't know?!" Pursing her lips, Seven gave him a narrowed look, in no mood to joke. "Just humor me.", she said softly. "Honey, you're in Eblan! Where'd you think you were?! Baron?" Wait! Baron! That was where Rosa and her husband Cecil were from...right?! And this Eblan...maybe she could get directions to Baron and where Rosa lived. She would help her!
