NPC
Character Name: Jonn Harper
Age: 49
World: Gran Pulse
Gender: Male
General Appearance: Stands roughly six feet three inches tall.
Face Claim: The Illusive Man [Mass Effect]
Allegiance: Academic Council
Occupation: Public Support and Relations Representative, Academic Council
Moral Alignment: Neutral
Abilities:
- Charismatic
- Brilliant organizer
- Skilled speaker
Personality: Harper is a very businesslike kind of man. He handles everything in a diplomatic, if firm, manner and argues his points as a politician in a manner that almost seems grandfatherly. He is a bit arrogant, however, making it sound like his ideas are the only ones. While he does have a temper, it is not one that rears its head in an ugly way. He simply becomes more firm, and for that reason, people see him to be more honest than he really is. He’s not afraid of dealing under the table, or using deceptive language to get what he wants.
History: Harper began his career path well before Hope Estheim arrived on the scene from his time travel machine. He is a career politician, growing to his greatest public esteem in the aftermath of the Battle of the Pillar, when he oversaw the distribution of supplies and medical aid to all affected by the Chaos and accompanying foreign invasion. When the government was reorganized as an meritocracy, Harper’s popularity with the public secured his position as a representative on the council. He’s now served on the Academic Council for four years, typically acting as the leader of a newly-formed “opposition” to what he calls the “unfortunate status quo” of Hope Estheim’s leadership.
Miscellaneous: Since Taiya decided to drop Barty, I’m creating two NPCs to take his place on our little future civil war-y plot we’re getting organized. This is the main one.
