(OOC: Kinda short for a beginning but I'm sure the next one will be larger.) "T.G.I.F~!" Cater said in a sing-song voice. It was, as Cater put it, friday and thank Etro for it! No classes tomorrow and the girls were free to do as they pleased! That and Cater now had a chance to get to know Rem more. It was no easy task with Machina constantly hovering over Rem. As for Rem, she was a fun girl to be around. Cater saw this night as a perfect opportunity to get to know her more. Rem was always one of the innocent ones and it had been a while since she did anything like this with one of the girl class members of Class Zero.
Wearing a white tank top with a chocobo on the front and pink fuzzy pajama bottoms, Cater plopped herself onto the bed, grinning from ear to ear. It was good to have a friend over once in a while. Usually, she was the one being invited to other people's sleep overs. Today, everyone seemed to be too busy lately. What was up with everyone else, she didn't know. Still, she was with Rem so she was happy.
"So Rem, is there anything you wanted to do?" she asked her curiously. Since Rem was the guest, Cater was giving her a chance to choose what they could do for entertainment. There were all sorts of things they could do. Pillow fights, girl talk, scary stories, just about anything! Heck, they could even egg Kurasame's door!

[/IMG] Slumber parties were the best. Rem hadn't gotten to go to many since joining the academy, she was too focused on her studies some times to even step outside of her dorm. It was a good thing she had Deuce as a roommate, otherwise she would probably live in their dorm forever and become some sort of hermit. But here she was, packed and in Cater's dorm ready to enjoy the evening. Now, Rem hadn't really gotten on a buddy buddy basis with Cater just yet, she hadn't been in Class Zero all that long so she was still working the friend pool right now. She and Deuce got along just great, her and Machina of course were on more than good terms and well…here she was just trying to get to know everyone a little better. Staring with Cater, the class prankster. She didn't really know what to expect from this young lady, she seemed like the unpredictable type, and Rem wouldn't be surprised if she woke up with shaving cream on her face or her hand in a glass of water, something for a prank, but then again…she could be just as devious if she really wanted to be.
"Yeah no kidding! Classes were killer today." Rem sighed as she dropped her light weight bag down on the floor and off to the side, already dressed up in her usual sleeping attire that consisted of some shorts, a tshirt and slippers for when she wasn't actually in bed. It was nice to get away sometimes, to have girl time. Lately she'd spent most of her time with Machina that it was getting to the point where girl time just didn't happen anymore. Now, it could. But what were they going to talk about? The boys? Definitely. Whether it be good, or bad, they would be a definite topic of conversation. When asked if there was anything she wanted to do, Rem tilted her head to the side a bit and began to ponder, raising a hand to her chin and looking rather thoughtful. Class Prankster…innocent little Rem…many things came to mind. For one, Rem might finally be able to pick up a few tips when it came to pranking from this girl. And maybe not look so silly when she tried to 'stretch' the truth. Tonight would be productive! "Um, I'm not sure! But…if we want somewhere to start…let's start with the boys."
With a widened smile, Rem plopped herself on the opposite side of Cater's bed, folding her hands in her lap and just smiling. When it came to the boys there were many possibilities. Of course Cater probably didn’t want to hear Rem blubber over Machina and how cute or amazing he was, but then again, you can bet all the gil in the world that Rem was going to mention Eight. For some reason, she'd thought that Eight and Cater just seemed like a perfect pair. Once, Rem even heard that Cater leaped off a balcony in the school and crashed into him…how weird, but how…naw just weird. They seemed alright for one another, as did almost everyone in class Zero. King to Queen, Seven to Nine, Trey to Sice…it was like they were all meant to have someone. Perhaps Arecia planned it that way? Naw, she wouldn't know, it wasn't like she could change time or anything and know what was up. Fumbling around with her fingers through her hair and just smiling at Cater, Rem decided she'd break the ice and start talking, it was easy, she liked talking. "I heard something here awhile back, you'll never guess. You know King, big tough intimidating 'I don't talk to anyone' King? Apparently…he bakes." Rem was shocked when she found out, something about Queen and cookies…it was all so weird, but so cute at the same time. "We should…bother him to bake cookies for us sometime!" Hopefully that would get things started…if not…well, yay, King now had his own random topic during this…girl time. [/blockquote] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words: 783 Muse: Good! Cater chuckled in response to what Rem said about classes being killer today. "Anything with Kurasame is killer!" she mused. Oh yes, the masked instructor always pushed them hard. Sometimes she wondered if he even cared about their sakes. It was because of the way he acted that Cater never seemed to like him. That and the fact he replaced 'Mother'. She couldn't ever see herself liking someone that took over Mother's spot. Her and Nine were especially the ones that made that clear to him.
It was true, her and Rem hadn't gotten onto buddy-buddy terms but it wasn't like they could have helped it. Kurasame had pushed them really hard in the past. Everyone had to crack down and study for a while. Now that things were lighter, Cater was free to finally hang with Rem and form more of a bond with the new girl. Everyone still technically referred to Machina and Rem as the 'new' kids.
Patiently, Cater waited for Rem to bring some kind of topic up or an idea. She was the guest so Cater had no problem with whatever she wanted to do. Her bright blue eyes seemed to light up a bit when Rem mentioned they could start off with the boys. Oh yes, girl talk about the boys was something that took place at nearly every slumber party girls had. It was like...a religion or something to talk about the boys. "Sure! We can start off with the guys!" If Rem went on about Machina, she wouldn't mind at all. It was obvious to Cater the two had something going on. Machina made it clear being so protective of Rem all the time. Cater learned that the hard way when he randomly smacked her hand over Rem. It was because of that, that she still had some difficulty getting along with him.
It was Rem who decided to break the ice about who their first 'victim' would be. Listening very intently, Cater's eyebrows raised when Rem mentioned King. "Oh wow, the King of Class Zero? The big tough guy that doesn't talk bakes?! I'm amazed!" she said, trying to picture it. Oddly enough, she got a funny imagery in her mind with him holding a tray of recently baked cookies with some sort of oven mitts. "Now that would be a sight to see!" she said with a chuckle. "So who told you this?" she asked Rem animatedly.
At the mention of conning King into baking them cookies, one could put their bets that Cater would definitely try! "We really should! Con him into being our cookie baker!" she said with a mischievous grin.
"I've got some good dirt myself! You know Trey? The bowman that doesn't shut up? Well~...I heard he was harboring some sort of woman in his dorm! I heard Sice exploding about it the other day, she looked murderous!" she stated. Now that she thought about it, one had to worry about Trey. Sice would probably cut him in two if she were angry enough. "Heh, I wonder if we'll still have a chatty bowman by the time this weekend is through." Yes, knowing Sice, poor Trey would be as good as dead. Sice was nearly as bad as Kurasame, neither were to be angered...ever!

It just seemed that classes got harder and harder with each passing day. There was truth behind Cater’s statement, Kurasame was not an easy instructor that was for sure. Smiling and nodding to agree with the red head, Rem just remembered back when she was in class seven, classes were easier, more focused on white magic which was one of her specialties, so of course it seemed easier than the tough stuff she was getting now, but it could be worse. At least right now she wasn’t freaking out over some huge assignment or anything like that, and it was Friday! A slumber party at Cater’s, there was no time to dwell on anything! Tonight was a night to just relax and enjoy the evening, no school work and no drama, a perfect night! Starting off with the boys though, that would definitely be the best way to start things off! That topic could easily go on for ages if she and Cater really got to talking. They could talk about the good, the bad and the ugly things that went on around here….this would definitely be a time filler.
Starting things off with a bang, Rem decided to share what weird fact she knew. King, the tall and very quiet member of class Zero was apparently into baking and cooking, the works. Rem didn’t believe it the first time she’d actually heard about it, she almost cried from holding in her laughter but being a calm and mature girl like she was, she resisted completely exploding into 10 minutes of nothing but laughter. “I heard it from Deuce.” Rem giggled, putting a loose fist up to her lips to keep her from laughing, just like last time. “I heard that he and she had baked them for Queen, who would’ve ever imagined that?” It really was a funny image to Rem, he didn’t look like the type that would do anything that…sensitive? Or feminine? Guess that went to show that Rem really needed to get to know her classmates a little bit better. Then again, Cater seemed surprised as well, so maybe it was just one of those hidden secret type of things? Most likely. “I doubt he’d do that for us, but we can try! Maybe I’ll ask Deuce to help us out.” Rem added on before Cater had her own information to share.
Listening to Cater, Rem just couldn’t help but laugh. Trey was definitely known for his long explanations, and though that never really bothered the brunette, she couldn’t imagine him harboring some woman in his room, but it certainly explained why Sice had looked so pissed off lately. It was like the final pieces to the puzzle. “I thought Sice looked angry the other day! It looked like she was about to summon her scythe and just start swinging away at him…I do hope Trey survives, he’s nice.” Rem shrugged a bit before looking around the rather vacant room and back to Cater. Okay, King and Trey had been talked about, who next? Leaning forward, as if Rem had a really big secret, she even spoke in a whispered tone. “I’ve been keeping an eye out, have you noticed Deuce and Ace? I think they like each other.” Rem almost felt like squealing. She’d gotten to know the flute player rather well and had been there for her, especially that night all the boys got drunk and seemed to bother every single girl, there was definitely something there. “Noticed anything between them? They are kind of cute together…” she just started to ramble a bit, but that wasn’t out of the ordinary, it was all in good fun. The list of people to talk about was slowly diminishing, but each girl had their own opinions to share about people. Maybe Cater had some sort of huge super amazing opinion out there on someone…or just wanted to go off and rant. Rem was sure she could do that, but not until the conversation got a bit deeper. She knew exactly who she wanted to fly off on. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words: 775 Muse: Good! Cater could see Rem trying to hold in a fit of laughter. It was definitely hard to picture King baking. King was just so...quiet, held back, not very talkative, and there was definitely no way someone would expect something like that coming from him. As she heard Rem state that she had heard about it from Deuce, Cater grinned from ear-to-ear. "I'm definitely surprised! Nothing you'd expect from a guy like King, that's for sure! Also, Deuce and he baked them for Queen, eh?" Cater said with a giggle.
It was thought King and Queen had a thing but nothing more viable than what she heard from Rem. Of course, it could be King's 'motherly' side always helping those that needed it. King was especially known amongst the classmates to be the one to lecture them if they acted out of line. Oddly enough, no one seemed to argue for long with him over it. King just had that air about him to obey him.
The idea of conning him into baking them cookies would definitely be a difficult endeavor. Then again, if they really wanted to sink low, they could threaten with blackmail. Of course, that was a tact Cater wouldn't normally use on someone. It wasn't nice and she knew it wouldn't feel good if someone did the same to her. Still, Cater was a rambunctious girl. One shouldn't put it past her not to try it at least a few times. "Yes, I bet Deuce could get him to if he's already baked with her!" she mused. Cater couldn't help but wonder exactly how good the cookies would be.
Then, as the topic turned to Trey, Cater nodded her head vigorously. "Sice definitely looked like she would kill. If Trey's smart, he'll make it to next week and stay away from Sice for a few days." Trey was nice but man did he talk a heck of a lot! He drove her or Sice nuts gabbing on and on about one subject when you asked him a simple yes or no question.
Next up in their girl talk came Deuce and Ace. Cater had been flying by the seat of her chair too often this year that she hadn't really gotten to pay much attention to what everyone else was doing. Hearing that Deuce seemed to have a thing going on with Ace made her smile. "I think they'd make a good pair. Deuce all shy and Ace the scholarly, less likely to do much to her type...yeah, they could definitely work!" she stated.
As for noticing anything between them, Cater did think she caught them hanging around a bit at the library. "I think I saw them once, hanging around the library sitting close to one another~!" Cater said in a sing song voice. Hanging around Cinque a lot, Cater often picked up some of Cinque's traits. Cinque had a tendency to talk in a sing song voice a lot. Cater didn't do it as often as Cinque though.
"I bet Deuce might melt into a puddle if I were to ask her about it~!" she added, unable to help a giggle from escaping then. Deuce, stubborn and shy flute wielding Deuce liked Ace! The thought of it was absolutely adorable. However, she wouldn't dare tease them about it if she could help it...okay, maybe a little...no maybe a LOT!
Now, who else to talk about? Cater wanted to keep their conversation going. After all, it looked like they had really broken the ice talking like they did. "Hmmm...OH! Deuce told me the other day that Machina kept calling her thinking she was you~!" she said with a bit of a laugh. Poor Deuce, getting like ten million calls from Machina who was under the impression that she was Rem. Deuce had been so flustered, it was funny. "Poor Deuce had no idea what to say!" she laughed.

It really was a funny image. Big King and little Deuce baking together. It made Rem want to laugh but she was trying so hard to hold it all in! “Yeah, I’m pretty sure King and Queen are an item now.” She smiled brightly, almost thinking that within the class there was always that one person that you bonded with the most, it kind of applied right? Deuce was with Ace a lot, Rem herself was with Machina a lot, Cater seemed to be with Eight, and King always seemed to be with Queen if he wasn’t off dragging Nine out of whatever trouble he’d gotten himself into that day. Yeah! That sounded legit, and Rem was just going to go with it for now unless proven otherwise. Anyways, from what Rem had heard, King was quite the cook, and it made her curious. Surely if you were good at something and someone asked you about it…weren’t you supposed to brag or something? He would never do that, he had that tall silent and intimidating reputation to keep up, but not for long! Rem would talk to Deuce and get her to help them get cookies from King. It was a great idea, and who didn’t love cookies?
Oh silly Trey. Poor silly talk-a-mile-a-minute-for-an-eternity-Trey. Cater was right, absolutely. “Yeah, then again I don’t think he can avoid Sice if she’s looking for him, which wouldn’t surprise me. She likes to take her anger out of things…he may just have to deal.” Rem said with a shrug and almost a worried look. Sice was one to beat, you didn’t get on her bad side. Not only did she have a foul mouth but she also had a deadly swing when it came to her scythe. Unless you wanted to turn into the headless ghost of Class Zero, you’d stay away from her when she was angry. Rem learned that fairly quickly, even without witnessing the young lady angry. Shaking her head, Rem was enjoying this talk, jumping from person to person and just getting your thoughts out. It was nice and much more convenient than a diary or journal. Notebook paper didn’t talk back and give their opinions, Rem liked Cater more than notebook paper. They’d have to do this slumber party thing more often! It was fun already and Rem was really enjoying herself. She’d had to thank Cater again for inviting her over.
Smiling at the thought of Deuce and Ace together, Rem clasped her hands together and just continued to grin brightly. She’d taken a few moments out of her day every now and then and made a good observation of the two. They really were cute. Deuce was quiet and Ace was too, they just sort of fit together! Like adjacent puzzle pieces, they were exactly right for each other, at least in Rem’s eyes they were. She’d have to talk to Deuce later and if anything else came up after the night of Trey’s birthday party. “Yeah? That’s so cute. It really is…they’re great friends already so why not? I mean…if you like someone, I say go for it!” Her tone was rather optimistic with a hint of leadership in that last statement, as if she were giving a speech on it, but then she toned herself down and continued to sit there, thinking about what to talk about next. King, Trey, Sice, Deuce, and Ace, check. But the Deuce conversation wasn’t over, it lead from her and Ace…to that very interesting night of the birthday party that the boys attended. Now THAT was worth explaining…though not everything needed to be told, like those rather graphic messages Ace left Deuce. Rem wasn’t sure if she was glad to have been around then, but she had comforted Deuce through it all.
Rubbing the back of her neck, Rem shifted her gaze away from Cater, almost feeling the heat move to her cheeks. She was blushing wasn’t she? Damn it all! “I was there, listening to them with her…Machina and the boys were, well, drunk.” Rem shrugged before looking back at Cater with a sheepish grin. “It was Trey’s birthday remember? They’d all gone out and such…Machina showed up at our dorm…it was….a very interesting night.” She sighed running a hand through her hair just remembering the chaos. Machina showing up drunk as a sailor with a rose in his mouth and other weird things like a boa and a mask. Sometimes, Rem wished she had a camera at the time. Shaking her head she actually started to laugh at the thought before giving Cater a look. “Did you hear from Eight?” she said wiggling her eyebrows a bit, wondering if the martial artist had attended the birthday party and pestered Cater at all. (OOC: Nor problemo lol) Cater looked thoughtful for a moment. The image of King baking was just difficult to picture. King was so stoic and intimidating, it didn't seem like the kind of thing one would catch him doing. Still, Cater didn't think Rem was the type to lie. Rem was always a nice girl. If she heard it from Deuce then the odds were very high that it was true. If that was the case, Cater would want to see that. Why? Well, how often did someone see a big tough guy like King doing something as domestic as baking cookies? Not often, that was for sure. That and she was curious how good of a cook he was.
Her eyebrows rose when Rem mentioned that Queen and King were an item. Thinking on it, it did seem likely. "It would be cute if they are. Queen and King just seem to go with one another." Now that she thought about it, at the present ages they were all in, it seemed a lot like students in their group were hooking up. Rem and Machina, King and Queen, Ace and Deuce...it was a wonder.
Trey, it was hard to tell if he'd survive his encounter with an angry Sice. She definitely wasn't a girl to anger. If anyone topped Cater's temper, it was Sice. Sice was the top girl when it came to anger management problems. It was only obvious as to why Sice would be so angry with Trey for harboring a girl in his room. It didn't take a genius to figure out that one. Sice seemed to have secretly buried affections for him. Either that or he had done something else to really piss her off but what, Cater couldn't even imagine since most people avoided angering Sice.
Cater nodded at what Rem said about Trey having to deal with Sice. "Whatever he did, he's got it coming to him. Which sucks since he only just got past his birthday." She let out a brief giggle then. It was common Class Zero knowledge that the boys had gotten themselves severely drunk at that party. She didn't know who's bright idea it was to drink but she did know who might've caused them all to drink like crazy to try and keep up with him. Definitely the worst mistake the guys ever made. Cater might never forget that time.
On the topic of Deuce and Ace, Cater didn't think she could see Deuce with anyone else. Hearing Rem's gush about them, Cater smiled and nodded. "Yeah, you're right. If not, we should totally give them a nudge!" she mused. Oh, poor Deuce and Ace if that were to happen. Hopefully, they would've worked that thing out themselves before Rem and Cater had to get involved.
When Rem confirmed that she had been there with Deuce at the time, stating the guys had attended Trey's birthday party, Cater couldn't help but giggle a bit. Oh, she knew something had happened that night. How could she not with the unexpected visitor she had that night? "Let me guess, they all came back drunk?" she mused. It was that or a few of hem came back drunk. Cater knew someone had come back drunk and it was a rather...interesting time to say the least. She wouldn't be forgetting it for a while, that was for sure.
Next, Rem brought up the mention of Eight, wiggling her eyebrows. "Oh, I heard from Eight, alright!" she stated with a bit of a shake of her head. "He turned up on my dorm's doorstep bawling his eyes out over winning a drinking contest against the other guys!" she said with a laugh. "Guess that answers everyone's question as to why the others got drunk out of their minds, right?" she said with a bit of a laugh. It was typical guy pride to want to out do another guy at something. If in a contest, men tended to want to outlast the others which if it involved a drinking contest might have been responsible for all the guys getting tipsy.
"It wasn't easy calming him down. Apparently he's the emotional drunk when he drinks too much."

It was just a lovely conversation with Cater. Rem loved the slight gossipy feeling as she spoke about King and then Queen, them together did seem like the perfect match. Look at their names even! It was like meant to be, and it worked out perfectly since Rem was pretty positive that they were now an item. So cute, now maybe the image of King baking would change a bit, would having a girl soften him up a bit? Probably not, he’d still be that cold intimidating looking one, not that he was mean or anything, quite nice actually, and Rem didn’t want to prod into the personal lives of her friends, oh well, curiosity continued to hit her like a smack to the face. Nodding in agreement with Cater, they seemed to be on the same wavelength with their thoughts, everyone seemed to be hooking up which was kinda weird, a coincidence. Oh well! So long as they were happy that was all that mattered right? Right!
“Well I’m sure he lived a good life up until now if Sice really does decide to kill him.” She smiled at the statement, Sice wouldn’t actually KILL him, maybe seriously injure him or curse him out with that mouth of hers, but he wasn’t going to die by her hands. “He’ll be fine though, if push comes to shove he can just talk her to death.” She shrugged before laughing a little bit. It was no secret that Trey was a talkative one, and he could put anyone to sleep with his long explanations about hippocampuses or whatever he liked to talk about…which was everything.
Smiling brightly at Cater, it was a good idea. Giving Deuce and Ace a slight nudge. She was sure that she could talk Machina into giving Ace some advice and telling him to go after the younger brunette while Rem and Cater took care of Deuce and encouraged her to spend more time with Ace – if that was even possible – and focus on her feelings for him. Rem wasn’t going to push though, maybe it’d be best to just let fate take its course? Naw! “Just a tiny nudge of course.” She added onto Cater’s statement as she nodded, confirming the thought. Even if it was subtle, they’d give the two a little bit of a push into each other’s arms, it was going to be worth it too, they were perfect for one another when you really thought about it. They obviously liked one another and anyone who had vision could see that, except maybe them personally. That needed to be fixed, and it would be fixed…in due time of course. Rem and Cater had plenty of time to plot this evening, so it’d probably come up again later.
Nodding to answer Cater’s question, Rem then burst out laughing. Eight was emotional? Sobbing? That just didn’t seem like a great picture to her, but it probably would’ve been priceless to see the martial artist sobbing like a baby…over a drinking contest. Of course, because the boys were VERY smart, no wonder they were all so hammered. Shaking her head and pressing a palm to her face, still letting out laughter every now and then, Rem imagined it all in her head. Poor Cater, having to deal with Eight like that, then again her visit from Machina wasn’t exactly a walk in the park. He was totally out of it, crawling around her and Deuce’s dorm looking for his hat…missing a shirt and a shoe. Dear lord. “Apparently. I wonder what the other girls had to go through…” a look of mock horror struck her face as she then began to laugh again, adjusting her pjs and shifting around to get comfortable again. “Machina showed up at my dorm…while Deuce was there, missing a shirt and a shoe, he had a mask and a feather boa and a rose in his mouth. I don’t even know if that was real or a crazy dream.” She sighed with a smile on her face. He really was a sweet guy, talking about how he’d protect her still, even when he wasn’t sober…it was nice to know that even then he remembered that promise, that and wanting to marry her. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words: 818 Muse: GREAT! Cater couldn't help but giggle at the statement Rem made about Trey's lifespan. "If you call seventeen years a long enough lifespan!" she joked back. Truthfully, Sice wouldn't likely kill him. If anything, they might return to Class when the weekend was over and find Trey had obtained several bruises. One thing was certain though, a woman's wrath should never be provoked. Seven and Sice were pretty darn good examples of just how bad a woman's wrath could be. Cater wasn't exactly good either when she got mad too but she couldn't compare to Sice and Seven when they got pissed.
"Oh, I wouldn't doubt it for a second!" she said with a bit of a laugh. As it was, it really seemed oddly coincidental that everyone seemed to be falling into pairs already. It was odd how none of them seemed to find interest outside of Class Zero. Maybe it was because their class was so closely knit? It seemed like it and it made her wonder if there was something 'Mother' knew that they all didn't. Pushing the thought out of her mind, she focused on the next subject.
Ace and Deuce definitely needed a nudge in the right direction. Like Rem said, the two seemed perfect for each other. The thing was getting the two bashful ones to see that. Deuce was more reserved than most girls. Getting Deuce to confess to someone wouldn't be an easy ordeal. Still, a nice 'nudge' should do the trick. Hearing Rem's words about a 'tiny nudge' Cater chuckled a bit. "If worse comes to worse, we can just lock them in a room for a bit and see what happens!" she added rather mischievously.
The thought of having to go that far for anyone was an amusing thought. Hopefully, things didn't get that desperate. If they did, things could have the high risk of going awry and as a fellow friend of Deuce's, she didn't want for her to get hurt. Where words didn't hurt someone physically, they certainly did emotionally. Emotional wounds could be just as bad as physical sometimes.
Cater couldn't help but laugh along with Rem as she seemed to burst from hearing about Eight. Oh yes, Eight had out drank the rest and from the sound of it, the others must've gotten severely drunk trying to best him too. Definitely not one of their most brilliant moments, even for Ace whom was suppose to be nearly as intelligent as Queen. Still, Cater was somewhat happy they went out and had some fun. Being cooped up all the time wasn't any fun at all. Cater was glad that she could have slumber parties like this. Sure, it wasn't a big party but it was enough to have another friend over and gossip like the kids they were and not be out in battle somewhere.
Cater tried to imagine how the rest of the girls must've dealt with the other boys. It was pretty amusing to think of the possibilities as to what they had experienced. Her mind didn't even begin to fathom the darker side to that night though. "I'm sure they all must've had their hands full! Heh, really not their best moment!" she mused. "The guys are lucky we're not snitches or they'd be in for some real trouble with Kurasame." At least, from what she knew, no one seemed to have snitched. How did she know this? Well, no one's heads got severed off from their shoulders. Okay, maybe that was a bit over dramatic but it wouldn't have been a pretty sight if Kurasame had found out about the boys being drunk. Detentions of the most horrible kind came to mind but Cater didn't quiver. She had an odd thrill out of getting into some kind of conflict. It sometimes made her seem rather...overly eager during battle.
She couldn't help but listen with interest as Rem mentioned how Machina arrived at her dorm while Deuce had been there. Imagining someone like Machina with a mask, a feather boa and all of that was just hard to not laugh at. "Machina?! In a feather boa?!" she exclaimed before falling backward, holding her sides as she laughed hard.
"I can't believe he did that!" she laughed. Machina definitely wasn't the sort to act in that manner and for him to do that when drunk was just too good to not laugh one's butt off at. "I'm sorry, Rem! It's just so darn funny!" she apologized, sitting back up.

Rem was always quite amused when it came to her friends, some were more funny than others, but as a whole, she could see them as a huge happy family. With a sincere smile on her face as she gazed at Cater, talking about Trey and Sice, Rem laughed a little. “He’ll be fine, I’m sure. Or at least, I hope so.” She commented knowing that Sice wouldn’t actually use that Scythe against the blonde, but she wouldn’t doubt for a second that Sice wouldn’t at least want to hit him a few times for harboring women in his room, or going on for hours talking about something that didn’t interest anyone in the slightest. Trey my friends is what we like to call, a know it all. He was the type to be able to talk forever on the tiniest of topics. Everyone within Class Zero had their strengths, weaknesses, and little quirks that tended to get on each other’s nerves at times. Still, she couldn’t imagine any of them different.
Then it went from Trey to Sice, to Deuce and Ace, and of course the tone of the topic was a lot happier for the younger two. A tiny nudge to get the wheels in motion was nice, Rem wouldn’t do anything to pressure her roommate or anything, she had just been a silent observer, seeing things blossom even if the other two didn’t notice. “Ha! Sounds like a plan, Cater, but I don’t know if they’ll be too thrilled with us after having locked them into a room. But hey, we’re just trying to help right?” she mused over it all. She could only imagine Deuce and Ace’s unamsued faces, but really, it was for their own good and it was about time someone nudged them together, if not Rem and Cater, then who would be brave enough to take on a task like this? No one that’s who! Rem knew very well that pushing the two would be a bit risky, so for now her and the red head could simply plot, come up with all sorts of plans if they really wanted too, but right now, Rem wanted to just let fate take those two wherever they needed to go. Interference never led to good things.
“Oh dear, can you imagine the look on Kurasame’s face if he found out what the boys had been up to!?” Rem gasped with a wide eyed yet very amused look on her face as she imagined the look on their instructors face. Unamused and irritated, that was generally how it usually was when it came to someone like…Nine, or Jack, but if all the boys had gotten into some trouble, how annoyed would he have been then? The thought made Rem smile and laugh a bit silently to herself. The boys were lucky, they probably would’ve all gotten detention for a month or something worse knowing Kurasame. “Hopefully it doesn’t happen again for a long time…I don’t know if I can handle that much chaos!” And that’s when Rem started to tell what had happened to her. Machina showing up at her doorstep while Deuce was there…it was just confusing and so…cute at times when he was talking, especially when he’d told her about the chocobo chick he and Ace had been taking care of, Kimi, which came from Rem’s last name, Tokimiya…it was really sweet and it made her smile, but looking at his attire made it seem weird.
Shaking her head and laughing as Cater did, Rem nodded in agreement, it was pretty dang funny to think about. “No worries, it really was, I think I was too tired to laugh though…he was awfully adorable at times though, despite the fact that he was also missing a shirt, a shoe and…well, he was just a mess.” She said in an amused tone, thinking back about that evening. Machina going into her dorm and wanting her to sit with him, the chocobo chick and secret telling, it was a night of weirdness, but Rem wasn’t going to forget it for a long time. Blinking for a second and thinking, Rem looked at Cater with a blank look on her face. “I wonder what sort of trouble Seven got…knowing Nine and all…he’s just so ridiculous it’s not even funny.” She smirked a bit, almost complaining, but then again, there was always that one person in every family that was just…very Nine-like.

Concerning Sice and Trey, neither of the girls seemed to know what fate would actually befall the blond haired archer. Well, fate would just have to decide for him then. Cater just hoped it wouldn't be too bad. Hopefully, he'd learn his lesson to not anger Sice the next time. Angering the white haired scythe wielder was never a wise thing to do. Even Cater knew better than to push any of Sice's buttons. Finally letting go of the subject about Trey and Sice, Cater focused on the other topics brought up. She believed what was said was all they had to say about them.
Ace and Deuce, Cater figured that they would most likely get ticked off if Rem and Cater locked them into a room. Like Rem said though, they were just helping them a bit. So, if everything turned out fine, then they wouldn't possibly find it in themselves to stay mad at them for long right? Right! At least, that's what Cater thought about it. "They'll get over it eventually!" she mused. "It'll be a funny story to tell later in their lives anyway! Can you imagine? Listen kids, this is how your father and I confessed!" she mused. "We'd go down in their family history!" she laughed.
Now, the idea of Kurasame finding out left an unsettling air in the room. No doubt, he wouldn't go easy on the boys if he did. There was no telling what he would've done to them. Kurasame's detentions weren't fun at all. Cater and Nine knew that the most out of the rest of their class. After all, Nine was always conflicting with Kurasame and Cater just couldn't keep her mouth shut either. "All I can say to that is six feet under!" she stated rather simply. "Yeah, it can get a bit crazy if something like that were to happen a lot. Kurasame would crack a few skulls open if it does."
Cater listened intently to Rem's account of what happened to her on that night. It really was funny to hear. It would've been quite a sight to see. Machina, adorned in god knows what for attire. That would've been a good laugh! Then, the subject turned to what trouble had gone Seven's way concerning Nine. Honestly, Cater hadn't heard anything. Seven didn't exactly mingle with the other girls of the class except for maybe Sice. It was once thought that Sice and Seven were an item but those misconceptions had thankfully been cleared up. Both girls were straight, enough said. "Knowing Nine, nothing good!" she giggled.
"You know, something funny just popped into my head just now. What would Nine look like if we painted his nails pink and gave him a make over?" she mused. Surely Nine would pissed off to no end but the thought of pulling a prank like that was absolutely priceless! If Cater could do it, she totally would! Also, what better way to teach Rem how to be a prankster by pulling a prank off to that extent?

With a laugh, Rem looked at Cater as she spoke about Deuce and Ace’s ‘family history’, it was too funny, but if things did work out that way, it’d be so true. How awesome would that be? Oh well, it was probably just best to let fate take its course…for the time being. If things were going too slow and both of them were still being oblivious little children, they maybe Rem and Cater could devise a plan, perhaps she could get Machina to help! He and Ace were good buddies so…yes, he’d help and Rem was sure if she batted her eyelashes the right way she’d get him to help her with just about anything. After all, they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. Who could resist fluttered eyelashes anyways? “You’re right, we would go into their history…but I would imagine Deuce wouldn’t talk to me for a year if we did something like that.” She beamed with a small laugh in her voice. It was a nice idea though, not completely tossed away, but she wasn’t about to go locking people in rooms together just yet.
“I think…if anything, I’m sure Nine would get most of the blame for the alcohol, at least from Kurasame. It seems they don’t see eye to eye the most, I know a lot of people thing Instructor isn’t that nice, but…yeah, he’s okay.” She said before patting Cater on the shoulder. She knew that Nine and Cater were probably the more angered two over Kurasame replacing Arecia, or their mother, as instructor, but hey, people needed to move on to bigger and better things. But if Instructor Susaya had found out about the drunken party the boys had for Trey’s birthday, all hell would break loose and Rem wouldn’t want to be around when it did. She’d probably have to wait a few months to be able to hang out with Machina since he’d probably spend those days in detention…if someone found out of course. She, like the rest of the ladies it seemed, wasn’t about to go blabbing to anyone important about this. But that didn’t mean rumors wouldn’t float around. This school was prone to rumors…especially with Naghi and Carla’s stupid blog thing going on. If any word of the drunk party got out to them, everyone was doomed.
Thinking about Nine though, Rem shook her head and frowned slightly. He was generally nice, rough around the edges and seemed like he didn’t care, but occasionally he’d do the right thing and maybe show up to class. Although she couldn’t deal with everything he pulled, Rem decided that just how things were supposed to be. Even if it did mean getting freaked out by a few fake spiders from time to time. “Really? You think he’d let us get anywhere near him with anything pink? Let alone near his room…I’d be scared to go in there, I don’t know how King survives.” She shrugged with a small laugh in her voice before her eyes widened and the mental lightbulb flicked on. “Maybe there is something we can do though…just to show Nine that we are forces not to be reckoned with!” She sounded way too confident now, but hey, what better person to talk to than Cater about this sort of thing? She was the school’s best prankster, the obvious one to deal with these kinds of things. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Words: 683 Muse: Good! Cater thought for a moment about Deuce. It was probably true that she wouldn't speak to them for a year should they simply lock the two of them in a room somewhere. "Hm...you're right but it would be worth it if it means they'd be a couple in the long run." Where it was an amusing idea, Cater hoped for Deuce's and Ace's sake that they managed to get things going by themselves. Then again, if they took too long, Rem and Cater might just have to help them out.
When the subject was on Nine about the alcohol, where it was something Cater could see him doing she'd rather not see him get smacked around by Kurasame again. Sometimes, Kurasame was too violent towards Nine. Both Nine and Cater had been very close to Arecia. Nine was even more so than Cater but the point is Kurasame was viewed as the enemy in their eyes. He had, after all, replaced mother. It was because of that, that they resented him. Whether they'd ever learn to accept him remained a mystery. "...I'm not a fan of Instructor's either. I mean, why does he have to be our instructor now and not mother anymore?" Cater stated.
As for the subject of Nine, Cater sat back and thought about what she knew of him. Since being a member of Class Zero, she had known all of the members except Rem and Machina. Ten and Joker were members but not quite associated with them all. In fact, none of the two really interacted with the rest of Class Zero. "Well, Nine does seem to sleep rather soundly in class..." she trailed off, placing her chin on a raised hand as she thought for a moment.
"If we ask King, he might not like that. King's nickname isn't 'Mother' for nothing." Then again, there were times where King would comply with a prank or two. "Hm...guess we could try to ask King...but if he says no, we'll have to pretend we won't and lay low for a bit." That was the thing about pranks, they had to be carefully planned out for them to work most of the time.
Cater pretty much flew by the seat of her pants. Most of the time, just luck played into her hands when it came to her pranks. The way Rem was sounding, Cater couldn't help but smirk. She had pretty much corrupted Rem! Sweet, innocent Rem would now be a fellow prankster by the end of this weekend! Machina and the others won't even know what hit them! The thought made Cater inwardly laugh.
"Worse comes to worse, we might have to use a distraction to get King out of the room so we can have our bit of fun with sleeping Nine." Oh, if Nine only knew what horrors these two girls had in store for him. "When we prank though, we've gotta make sure that no one catches us."

Shaking her head a bit with a small smile, Rem let her eyes settled on the red head across from her. “I just would rather have Deuce NOT hate me, for now of course.” She said with a wink before moving onto the next subject. Crossing her legs and putting a rather thoughtful look on her face, she placed a hand under her chin and shrugged some. She remembered her first day in Class Zero with Machina, it was Kurasame’s first day as their instructor, if she remembered correctly, he had introduced them and well…it was just a day she wouldn’t forget. Rem knew well that particularly Cater and Nine didn’t like Kurasame, they were more partial to Arecia, or Mother as they called her, and she understood that…but weren’t they being a bit too harsh on Kurasame? “Oh, he isn’t that bad, Cater. Arecia seems like a nice woman, but she has other duties. It isn’t like Kurasame is failing at his job, I think he’s good for this class…pushing us harder each day to be our best.” She ended with an encouraging smile, waiting to see what the prankster would have to say about that.
Smirking about King, Rem waved a hand. She wasn’t too worried about the mulleted blonde, he would certainly comply with this, word on the street was that Nine had blabbered something he shouldn’t have about King and Queen, this would be easy as pie and Rem…well she was excited. She couldn’t wait to get some excitement in her life aside from lurking in the library and sitting her in dorm studying. Of course she’d go hang out with Machina and what not, but this was like…living on the edge! Crossing Nine or even pulling a prank on him was like laughing in the face of danger, if he caught you…you were going to get a hissy fit from him, if not more. “Oh I don’t think King will be a problem, at least not from what I’ve heard lately.” Rem spoke confidently as she waggled her eyebrows a bit before shifting herself and sliding off of the bed, adjusting her pajamas and trotting over to the small bag that she’d packed to take to Cater’s dorm, she sat on the floor with it in her lap and began to dig through it.
Rem’s mind was a million light years away. She was focusing hard on this prank, she’d never pulled one before, and with the mastermind Cater at her side, it was going to be worth it of course. A mischievous smile appeared on her face as she pulled out a handful of bows and scrunchies. Red eyes gazed up at Cater as she raised an eyebrow. “If King isn’t an issue…I say, what are we waiting for? What better night to pull a prank than the night of a sleepover?” Rem said as she placed the hair bows and ties next to her on the floor and began digging some more. She hadn’t been sure what to bring in the first place so she was just pulling things out on a whim. There was a bit of makeup, not much, a hairbrush and some nail polish, and she was pretty sure Cater would have some things to help with this magnificent plan. “What do you say, Cater?” she said pulling all the items into her arms and awkwardly getting to her feet, a bright smile on her face as she looked at Cater with a childlike look of innocence. Who would suspect Rem anyways? No one…

Now that they thought about it, it would be best to not get Deuce upset with them. Still, if things went way too slowly, they might just have to give the relationship between Ace and Deuce a nudge. As for the subject about Kurasame, Cater still didn't like him no matter what Rem said. Sure, he was their instructor but that was all. Cater refused to accept him. "And beat what brain cells Nine has left out of him?" she retorted skeptically. That had been the thing the students hated the most.
Nine, where he was known to be impulsive, didn't deserve to be flung around like a rag doll. It was because of Kurasame's treatment of Nine that Cater also didn't like him. He replaced Mother and was mean. Why Arecia would put them with him, she still couldn't really understand. It just wasn't fair. Surely, it had to be because of the school committee forcing Mother to leave them? "I wouldn't be surprised if it's because of the stupid school committee!" she grumbled.
Even if the two girls were at different sides on this, Cater didn't think of Rem any differently. She just didn't like Kurasame. Sometimes, he was too harsh on them. It were almost as if he forgot they were still kids half the time. He lacked any compassion that Arecia had with them and he definitely didn't have a good understanding of them all. How was he to properly teach them and gain their respect if all he did was hammer down on them? Cater couldn't ever see herself getting along well with Kurasame no matter what.
Now that she was done giving her two cents about Kurasame, the subject turned to the situation with the prank they wished to pull tonight. It would be fun to torment Nine, just to show him that ladies could pull off one hell of a prank when they wanted to. Of course, if he ever found out there would be hell to pay but it would all be worth it. Then again, Nine might just have a rage fit on them but that was worth it too. The look on Nine's face would just be priceless!
Rem seemed to know something that Cater didn't though when it came to King. Well, if Rem said King wouldn't be an issue then she guessed it would be good to trust Rem's word. Rem wouldn't lie about these kind of things. "Well,if you say so...and we're not about to get nagged to death by him, then I believe you!" she stated with a grin. Heck, it would be even funnier if somehow they got King to help them prank poor Nine. Then their duo would be an evil trio. Cater doubted it though, King wasn't the type to help with a prank because he was so serious most of the time. It was a funny thought though.
Rem already traveled to her bag and started pulling out bows, asking what they were waiting for. Cater smirked as she turned to her bureau and began pulling out her own make up and things that would help with this prank. Poor Nine, he had no clue what chaos was coming his way tonight. Oh well, that's what he gets for being Mother's favorite! Okay, that was a bit harsh, Cater was just merely mentally musing over tormenting him, really. She never thought anything negative of Nine despite the fact Mother seemed to favor him the most. In fact, Cater was okay with it. Besides, Nine was Mother's "Momma's boy" and Cater was "Mommy's little girl". If anything, this was just the typical sibling torture in Cater's eyes. All siblings got on each other's nerves now and then. It was just natural!
Collecting what she had, carrying them in her arms, she wandered over to where Rem awkwardly stood with her own supplies. A huge, devious grin spread across Cater's face. "I say full steam ahead!" she answered Rem with a wink. With that, Cater went over to her dorm's door and opened it considering Rem looked as though she had more stuff to carry and it would be a bit of a hassle for her to try and open the door.
Once they were outside, Cater silently looked around before turning to Rem. "Alright, Nine's and King's rooms should be down this hallway!" she indicated in a low whisper, using her head to nudge towards what direction she spoke of. It was towards their right down the dark hall. Not too dark though, the two should be able to navigate their way easily.
"Follow me!" she whispered and headed down the left hallway.
